Title: Jesus heals the sick so that people may know He has power on earth to forgive sins.

“But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” —He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!””‭‭Mark‬ ‭2:10-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus Christ while He was on earth, performed miracles to authenticate that He had power to forgive sins. The miracles He performed authenticated that He was God and confirmed what He was saying.  In John 2:23 (NKJV) the word of God tells us: "Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.” In John 5:36:Jesus Christ said "But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.”The miracles Jesus Christ performed bore witness that the Father had sent Him. Acts 2:22(AMP) puts it slightly differently: “You men of Israel, listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man accredited and pointed out and shown forth and commended and attested to you by God by the mighty works and [the power of performing] wonders and signs which God worked through Him [right] in your midst, as you yourselves know–”  Jesus Christ was accredited, pointed out, shown forth, commended and attested by God - how? By the mighty works, signs and wonders which God worked through Him.‭

‭Point of reflection:   ‭‭Jesus Christ wants to meet your needs, whatever they may be. If you have a need He wants to meet it. Period. Look at this portion of the word of God in Luke 7:19-23NKJV: “And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ”And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me."The question to Jesus Christ was, "Are you the Christ, the Messiah or shall we look for another. At that very hour Jesus was accomplishing His agenda of meeting the needs of His people whatever they were. As He did the miracles including raising the dead, He preached the gospel and multitudes of people followed Him. What are your needs? Bring them to Jesus Christ He wants to meet them. Come in faith, come expecting your miracle. He has not changed. He is the same yesterday today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He loves you and cares about the cries in your heart. Bring your dead to Him. When He does it you will say "I have never seen anything like this".  You need to take a step of faith. When you are ready
Prayer of faith:Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your faithfulness, kindness and  goodness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for our sin. I call upon the name of the risen Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as my Lord from today. I come to you today Heavenly Father and present my needs to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ to heal my sicknesses and my diseases. I present my dead before you and ask for your resurrection in the name of Jesus Christ. I exalt and magnify your name Father and I crown you Lord of all. Thank you for hearing me. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
