Title: The barren give birth.
“And the Angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, 'Indeed now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and bear a son. Now therefore, please be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean. For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.'"Judges 13:3-5 NKJV.
Is it not amazing how God visited a barren woman to bring forth one of the greatest deliverers of his time, Samson. You can compare this with the story of Isaac, Sarah was barren but she gave birth to Isaac, Hannah was barren and gave birth to Samuel, Elizabeth was barren and gave birth to John the Baptist, Mary knew not a man but bore Jesus Christ.
Point of reflection:
God want to use your barren areas to show forth His power to the world. That is why His word says in 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 NKJV: "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.”
Notice He has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things that are mighty. Therefore child of God never despise humble beginnings, or the things around you that look weak, set apart those things to God and let Him show you that He is God of the whole earth, let him show you His might, His power and His faithfulness. Glory be to God.
Do you desire to present to God your weakest attributes, your barrenness so that He can turn it to fruitfulness? When you are ready-
Prayer of consecration:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving us your Son Jesus Christ who suffered and died so that the weak things in our lives may be given strength, the dead things may be given life. I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from today. I present to you Father my dead situations today and set them apart for your service. Thank you for giving life to every dead and humanly hopeless situation that I face. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
