Title: The reward for discipleship.

“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:43‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.”‭‭Daniel‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

There is a reward for being a disciple of Jesus Christ. His word teaches us in Matthew: the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. His word also teaches us that God is a rewarder of those who seek Him diligently. (Hebrews 11:6). His word further says be steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing and being perpetually aware that your labour in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Point of reflection:

There is a reward for all the work you do for your God. All the sacrifices you make for the kingdom of God will be rewarded by God. The reward is a joy and more. The servant who was given 5 talents was rewarded  with rulership and the joy of His Master. “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’" Matthew‬ ‭25:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Almighty God also rewards the faithful by giving them rulership over His courts and giving them positions of honor.  (Zechariah 3:7). His word also says those who are faithful to the end will be given a crown of life (Revelations 2:10). Those who overcome will be made pillars in His temple, God will write on them the His name and the name of the City of God the new Jerusalem. (Revelations 3:12).

Prayer of commitment:
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ I thank you for your grace and mercy upon my life. Thank you that in Jesus Christ I have access into your presence and the privilege to serve you. I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today. I thank you Father that you are a rewarder of them that diligently seek you. I set myself apart to serve you and I reject every working of the enemy satan and his demons  in my life in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
