Title: Arise, shine for your light has arrived.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

It is time for the children of God, those who have known, experienced and seen the light of Jesus Christ to arise and shine with the light of Jesus Christ. There is deep darkness over the nations of the earth right now. The darkness contrasts the light and make it more visible. Hence His word also says in Matthew 4:16(NKJV): The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”‭‭

Point of reflection: The admonition to arise and shine means you could be sleeping with the light. Your light has come- you may not be aware it is now your turn, your time, your opportunity. He says in 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”Arise, shine and show forth the light, show forth the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Remember the light is packaged in the word of God, and powered by His Holy Spirit. Darkness will never overcome the light. Let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. As you arise you do- actions of light, actions that exude the light, you speak, words full of grace and truth. You release hope, confidence and self-assurance. You release the life of God because in Him (Jesus Christ) is the life and the life is the light of men. (John 1:4). Do you desire this? When you are ready-
Prayer of commitment: Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for giving me the light of Jesus Christ. Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. I renounce every working of darkness, powered by the enemy satan and his demons upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now in the name of Jesus Christ. From today I commit myself to arise and shine with the light of Jesus Christ. Thank you Father for your grace upon my life. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
