Title: Anchor your faith on the unchangeable word of God.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:35‬ ‭KJV‬‬, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33.
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Our salvation through Jesus Christ is founded and anchored upon the promises He made in His word. His word is a rock on which we should be founded. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the word of God shall not pass away. His word says in John 3:16 NKJV: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”‭‭His word also says in Romans 6:23 NKJV: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Is says further in Romans 10:9-10,13 NKJV “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””The word says the wages of sin is death, this death is separation from God and His positive outcomes, now and for all eternity. Sin is living your life giving your back to God and living for yourself. By default we will then be serving the enemy of God and mankind satan. Sin is also missing God's mark in the affairs of our lives. Because of the sin of Adam and Eve we are all born in sin. God provided for us the solution to sin in sending Jesus Christ to suffer, and die for us. He carried our sins, sicknesses, diseases and suffering of every kind. On the third day God raised Him from the dead for our justification.

 Point of reflection: What does one need to do to benefit from what God did for us in Jesus Christ?

 First believe on the Lord Jesus Christ- that He suffered and died for you and that He rose again from the dead and is alive today. He suffered pain to carry your disease and sickness.

 Secondly turn to Him, acknowledge that you have rebelled against Him and that you now want to live for Him. Embrace God: He wants a relationship with you, this will be the most rewarding relationship you can ever have. Another word for this is repentance.

 Thirdly- you need to call upon His name and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. For whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. You may ask: How will I know I have been saved? By believing His promises. By Faith in His word that does not change. When you call on Jesus Christ sincerely, He hears and forgives you, He comes into your life. His Spirit regenerates your spirit. You are regenerated and you become a born again child of God. He said in His word: “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”‭‭John‬ ‭10:28-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. His word also says in John 6:37 NKJV "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”‭‭His word also says in 1 John 5: 11-13 NKJV "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”‭‭Do you desire this? Prayer of consecration: Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for me. Thank you that He shed His blood so that my sin may be forgiven. Today I turn back to you. I embrace the love of Jesus Christ for me. I acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. Thank you for carrying my disease and sicknesses in the stripes on your back. Thank you that your body was broken for the healing of my body. Thank you for the gift of eternal life. I anchor my faith on your word which shall never pass away. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
