Title: Hope triumphs in trouble.
"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in trubulations, knowing that tribulations produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit" Romans 5:1-5 NKJV.
"Blessed be, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us against to aliving hope through the ressurection of Jesus Christ". 1Peter 1:3 NKJV.
Here, The word of God tells us that hope takes away shame. Hope is a product of experience, experience is a product of patience, patience is a product of tribulations. Where there is life there is hope, where there is hope there is life. Because living without hope is not life its just existing.
We are born again into a lively hope by the spirit of Jesus Christ. Christ in us is the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27).If we face challenges and trials we will hope in every promise. Trials are therefore sent our way so that they produce in us perseverance, in other words they make us tough, they help strengthen our resolve. They make us hold fast to the promises of God, they make our experience with God more intense. They make us therefore to value our eternal destination and that produces in us character or steadfastness. It is like pressing grapes to get the juice- the pressing will be hard but it produces the juice and removes the chuff.
Prayer: Almighty God I thank you for being my hope, my strength and the anchor of all that is value in my Life. Help me to hold fast to the truth that Christ in me the only hope of glory.
