Title: If God be for us who can be against us
"If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.”
Numbers 14:8 KJV
Moses was asked by God to send spies into the promised land. Twelve tribal leaders were sent. They all saw the land. Two chose to believe but ten were full of fear. They gave a bad report and sent the whole congregation weeping and mourning in exasperation. They forgot who was on their side, who had sent them and who had made a promise to them- that in fact it was the Almighty God Himself. The land referred to here was a figure of Jesus Christ and the benefits He bestores upon us.
In Romans 8:31-32 the scriptures tell us “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
If God is on your side, who can be against you. He gave you and mankind His one and only Son to die and that Jesus conquered death on behalf of every person.
Also remember "Greater is He who is in you (Jesus Christ) than he (Satan) who is in the world. (1John 4:4).
Therefore remember this as you seek to do His will in all you do, the Lord delights in you and as He does, He will give you the joy, peace, wellbeing and the victory you need. He is on your side, therefore you have the victory you need. Yes, if God is for you who can be against you?
Prayer: Thank you Lord for giving us your precious gift in Jesus Christ, by which we can do your will on the earth. Thank you Lord that as we pursue your will and your purpose, you are on our side, you delight in us and therefore we receive the joy, peace, wellbeing and victory in every area of our lives. In Jesus's name Amen.
Confession: I am a child of God, Jesus Christ in me is greater than the devil that is in the world. As I seek God's will in all I do, the Lord delights in me and I receive His promises. For if God is for me who can be against me?
