Title: The promise of God to you is sure.

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have been given by God exceedingly great and precious promises so that through these promises we may be partakers of the divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4).
Through the divine power of God in Jesus Christ we have been given (past tense) all things pertaining to this life and to godliness (2 Peter 1:3). In our born again spirit we have already received all things we need for this life (physical things) and to live a godly life (spiritual gifts and spiritual endowments).
What then does a born- again child of God need to do? You need to refuse to be conformed to this world but be transformed in the thinking of your mind by the word of God.
The word of God is spirit and it is life. (John 6:63).
The word of God is packaged with the capacity to release the supernatural faith of God (For faith comes by hearing the word of God -Romans 10:17).
So then God deals with us through releasing promises, and He has released exceeding great and precious promises, which contain everything we need. There is a promise to deal with each and every situation we will ever encounter in this life and a promise for every spiritual endowment you need to accomplish every heavenly purpose. The only qualification to receive the promise is faith but faith in turn is given packaged in the word of God. Therefore the promise is of grace, the promise is given to you as a gift, an unmerited favour which we do not deserve or work for, borne of activity on the side of God.
How you handle the word of God therefore becomes critical to the extend to which you experience the promises of God. Putting it differently, the extent to which you allow the word of God to transform your mind will determine the extend to which you will be able to experience the promise of God.
When the word of God works in you it produces fruit some thirty fold, some sixty fold, some a hundred fold. The word of God may be sent to you and produce zero fruit or zero realisation of the promise. What should you do to avoid that happening to you. When that happens you will have frustrated the grace of God upon your life. (Galatians 2:21). You have to avoid that. But how?
You are the ground on which the seed of the word is sawn, it is your responsibility to ensure you are fertile, well cultivated soil where the word can bear fruit.
Jesus spake a parable in Mark 4:3-20 about a sower who went to sow seed. Some fell by the wayside, the word was sown and Satan immediately came and took away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Some seed fell on stony ground, these are those who hear the word, receive it with gladness but have no root in them and so endure only for a short time. Afterward when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble.

Some seed fell among thorns. These are the ones who hear the word of God and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches and the desires of other things entering choke the word and becomes unfruitful.

But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirty fold, some sixty, and some a hundred fold.
For the word to bear it's fruit, prepare your heart to be good well cultivated, well watered ground.
By 1. Accept the word of God whole heartedly and retain the word in your heart. Study the word, meditate upon it, memorise it. (Colossians 3:16a Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom).
2. Focus on values that endure, not temporary gain, take hold of eternal life (1Timothy 6:12).
3.  Consecrate yourself, set yourself apart for God, seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and the rest shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

Point of Reflection:
Thank God in Jesus Christ that the promise is a gift of grace to you and is sure.

Thank God for the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Consecrate yourself to God, set yourself apart for His purpose and will and make a declaration that you will seek His will and His purposes in your life. Declare to Satan that he has nothing in you and you have nothing in him, and you know that he was disarmed and defeated publicly by Jesus Christ on the cross.
