Title: The fear of God in Jesus Christ makes you His special person for all eternity.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever.” Psalms111:10 KJV.
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28 KJV.
Point of Reflection:
The Lord Jesus Christ taught us not to fear satan who can destroy the body only
but to fear God who can destroy both the body and soul in hell for all eternity.
The word also teaches us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
and the fear of the Lord should guide us to shun sin
and the fear of the Lord opens the door for us to know God.
The reverential and obedient fear of Almighty God
makes us reverence Almighty God as well as obey His instructions to us.
Living a life of obedience to Almighty God gives us special status in His presence.
Hence Psalms 115:11 tells us the fear of the Lord is the entry point to the knowledge of God.
When we love God in Jesus Christ, and desire to do His will,
when we offer ourselves to God to be on His side,
we are saying no to the enemy of God and mankind satan.
When you align with God on His side, He gives you the knowledge of Himself,
and delivers you from the darkness of the enemy to His light,
He then reveals to you the punishment awaiting those who do not fear God but rebel against Him
and He reveals to you the benefits of loving God.
The love of God and the fear of God are two sides of the same coin.
Obey God because you love Him and know that everything He commands us to do
is for our good because He desires for us blessing, bliss and glory
while disobeying Him is by default obeying satan who desires for us the opposite, leading to shame, dishonour, bondage and ultimate destruction.
Who then should fear God? All the earth.
For His word declares in Psalms 33:8:
“Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.” KJV.
Psalms 96:9 says “O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth."
1Chronicles 16:25 says “For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.”
The fear of the Lord makes you to shun sin.
There are many benefits in loving God and therefore in fearing God.
The angel of the Lord encamps around them who fear Him and delivers them (Psalms 34:7).
Psalms 34:9 declares : “O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.” (KJV).
Isaiah 59:19 tells us that they who fear the Lord shall know His glory from the rising of the sun
and when the enemy comes against them like a flood the Lord will raise a standard for them against the enemy.
Malachi 3:16-17 declares:
“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another:
and the Lord hearkened,and heard it, and a book of remembrance
was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts,
in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them,
as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.” KJV.
Here God declares that those who fear Him shall be mine,
when they talk one to another, He not only listens but sends an angel to take minutes and keeps a record.
He also declares they shall be mine and I will spare them and they shall be special jewels to me.
Almighty God spares His own who serves Him- from attacks of the enemy satan and his demons,
from disease and sickness. He makes a wall around them (see Job 1:9, Psalms 34:7). Glory to God.
Take some time to commit yourself to the reverential and obedient fear of Almighty God.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for Jesus Christ who teaches me to fear you and shun sin.
Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.
I reject, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception
of the enemy satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Lord for saving me and for making me a child of God.
Thank you Lord for your grace for every day
and for the power and strengthening of your Holy Spirit.
I desire to do your will Lord everyday of my life and I thank you for your help everyday.

Year in Focus:
2025 The Year of the Overcomer.
His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who
was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).
Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,
which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He says further:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.
As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time.
That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.
a) What you need to know:
We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly
(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.
As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.
b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.
That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);
His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11),
He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;
1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).
c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:
Run with the vision.
Remember we are:
1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.
2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.
3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries
of God and substance.
4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).
5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).
6. We release the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to
manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).
d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.
He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
He says in John 14:13-14:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you.
Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).
In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.
Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.
We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one in 2025 and beyond.
As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
