Titles: Pray for Abolition of Poverty.
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need,
and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?” I John 3:16-17 NKJV.
The statistics show that 1% of the wealthiest possess more than the rest of the population of Planet Earth combined.
They also show that 1 billion people live on less than US $1.25 per day across planet Earth. (Oxfam report 2015).
Since the Covid-19 pandemic the incomes of 99% of humanity have worsened and yet at the same time the wealth of the world's 10 richest men have doubled. (Oxfam Report 2021).
We need to pray for the rise of the spirit of philanthropy which will result in improvement in public services,
living wages, removal of trade barriers, gender pay gap, and closing of the gap between the rich and the poor across Planet Earth.
We need to pray also for fair trading across nations, exposure of corruption and the rise of an anti-corruption generation.
Point of reflection:
His word teaches us in 1Timothy 6:17-19 KJV:
"Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded,
nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute,
willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation
against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
As we pray today ask for the Holy Spirit of God in Jesus Christ to move upon those
with this world's goods so that they are moved with mercy into action to abolish poverty across Planet Earth.
Do you desire to see a Planet Earth with more equitable distribution of wealth?
Pray for abolishing of wealth inequality. Use the outline below as you intercede for the Holy Spirit
to move the hearts of people to share wealth.

Prayer of intercession:
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ I bring before you Planet Earth and the needy of this planet,
I ask that by your Holy Spirit move those with wealth to share with those without.
We pray for fairer trade, rise of philanthropy, we ask you to continue to expose the demon
of corruption and its root causes within and across nations,
We pray for the rise of an anti-corruption generation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We release the spirit that abolishes poverty upon Planet Earth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for those campaigning for equality in wealth distribution to be strengthened with might
by your Spirit that they may accomplish your purpose across Planet Earth.
I thank you for Jesus Christ whom you sent to die for the sin of mankind.
Who wore a crown of thorns to break the curse of poverty and barrenness,
who was cursed by hanging on a tree so that all may receive the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Holy Spirit.
We release the spirit of wholeness and wholesomeness across Planet Earth.
We speak and release the rise of the spirit that fights poverty across Planet Earth in the name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty in the name of Jesus Christ.
I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today. Thank you Lord for hearing me today.

Year in Focus:
2025 The Year of the Overcomer.
His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who
was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you. (Habakkuk 1:5)
Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,
which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He says further:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.
As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time.
That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.
a) What you need to know:
We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly
(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.
As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.
b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.
That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);
His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11),
He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;
1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).
c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:
Run with the vision. Remember we are:
1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.
2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.
3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries
of God and substance.
4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).
5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).
6. We release the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to
manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).
d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.
He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
He says in John 14:13-14:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you.
Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).
In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.
Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.
We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one in 2025 and beyond.
As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
