Title: It is the desire of God in Jesus Christ that you overcome the wicked one satan.

“I have written unto you, fathers,

 because ye have known him that is from the beginning.

 I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong,

 and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.”‭‭ 1 John‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,

 and by the word of their testimony;

 and they loved not their lives unto the death.”‭‭ Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭KJV.‬‬


“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: 

because greater is He that is in you,

 than he that is in the world.”‭‭ 1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV.

It is the desire of God in Jesus Christ that you have victory over the enemy of God and mankind satan.

 It is the desire and will of Almighty God that you completely overcome the devil.

 The word of God also describes him as the thief, the murderer and destroyer (John 10:10) wicked one (Matthew 13:38),

 the liar and father of lies (John 8:44), the adversary (1 Peter 5:8),

 the deceiver of the whole world (Revelations 12:9),

 the evil one (Matthew 6:13), the prince of this world (John 12:31),

 the accuser of brethren (Revelations 12:10),

 that old serpent, the devil, the great dragon (Revelations 12:9).

 Whereas God Almighty desires positive outcomes

 and glory for you in this life and for eternity,  

satan has an agenda for negative outcomes

that put you to shame now in this life and then join him to perish for all eternity in hell. 

He knows that his destiny is in the lake of fire for all eternity.

 He also knows that Jesus Christ defeated him, disarmed him,

 stripped him naked publicly and openly on the cross (Colossians 2:15).

 You need to and you must overcome him:

1. To overcome him you need to know how he works and not to be ignorant of his device- 

principally he works by lying, deceiving and  twisting the truth. (2 Corinthians 2:11).

 2. To overcome him you need to Him who was from the beginning, (because Almighty God reveals to you the enemy satan) you need to know the word of God and have a strong conviction of it. (1John 2:14).

 3. To overcome him you need to  understand the victory brought to you by the death 

    and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:15, 1 John 3:8, Hebrews 2:14-15).

 4. To overcome him you need to understand the power in confessing the blood of Jesus Christ. (Revelations 12:11).

 5. To overcome him you need to understand the power of prayer and fasting. (Isaiah 58:6). 

As you study these scriptures understand your position and the authority over satan you were given by Jesus Christ.

Take some time to make declarations of faith and to celebrate the victory you  have over the wicked one.

When you are ready-

Prayer:

Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus Christ your Son to crash the head of the wicked one, satan.

I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.

Thank you that through Jesus Christ I can know and be acquainted with you, the only true God.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

I reject, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception

 of the enemy satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

 Heavenly Father, I thank you for the victory I have over the wicked one

 as a result of the work accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross.

Thank you that on the cross Jesus Christ, defeated, disarmed and stripped satan naked and humiliated him.
 I declare to you satan I have nothing in you

 and you have nothing in me.

 In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to let me go and serve God.

Thank you that in Jesus Christ I have been given power to tread over scorpions and serpents

 and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt me. 

I confess today that I overcome satan and his demons by the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

2025 The Year of the Overcomer.

His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.

To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who

was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).

Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,

which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire  and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He says further: 

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).

He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.

As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time. 

That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.

a) What you need to know:

We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly

(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.

As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.

b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):

1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.

That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45;  His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);

His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11), 

He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;

1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).

c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:

Run with the vision.

Remember we are:

1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.

2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.

3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries

of God and substance.

4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).

5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).

6. We release the fragrance of  the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to

manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).

d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.

He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

He says in John 14:13-14: 

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the

Father in My name He may give you. 

Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).

In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.

Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.

We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one  in 2025  and beyond.

As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
