Title: Focus on the  Author and Finisher.

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight,

and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,

despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”‭‭ Hebrews‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of your life and your faith.

Point of Reflection:

You are surrounded by a great cloud of cheering witnesses.

The life of faith has been lived successfully, by men and women who have gone before us.

Whatever you are facing, it has been overcome before by men and women just like you.

Remember to keep your eyes on Jesus Christ, on His word and His promises.

Remain good and be faithful with what has been entrusted to you.

Remember God the Father put a joy beyond the cross. This was the joy of your becoming the person Almighty God

created you to become. The joy of your transformed character, stature, achievement and self- assurance.

The joy of your mental and physical well-being. The joy of you inheriting blessing in every area of your life.

The joy of seeing you having fellowship with God for all eternity.

The same joy that Almighty God put before Jesus Christ- He has also put before you.

Because of the joy set before Him, Jesus Christ endured the cross and despised the shame of the cross.

There is a joy that God has put before you.

The joy of His salvation, the joy of  the Holy Spirit, joy unspeakable, triumphant, heavenly joy.

The joy of your mission accomplished.

Remember to put away weights, no athlete runs a race with 50 Kg load on their back.

The key to keeping away from sin is consecration, setting yourself apart for God every morning.

Weights are the distractors and energy sappers, take them off and keep focus.

Do you desire to be told one day: 'Well done good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things, enter into the joy of your lord'.

 Lord?' (Matthew 25:23).

When you are ready-

Prayer of commitment:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your faithfulness.

Thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation of our sin.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for Almighty God.

I reject, renounce and denounce every working and influence of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life.

Jesus Christ the Son of God defeated, disarmed and stripped you naked  publicly and openly on the cross.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesus Christ for  being the Author and Finisher of my life and my faith.

I look up to you and your promises.

I remember those that have gone before us and take them as my examples.

Thank you for the joy you have put before me, the joy of my mission accomplished.

I ask for your grace,  peace and victory to be multiplied upon my family.

I ask for your  grace, joy, peace, and victory upon Planet Ministries.

I ask for your grace, peace, joy and victory for every single child of God across Planet Earth.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

We love you as we invite you to be counted as Almighty God's special treasure in 2026  and beyond.

As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2026 filled with the victory that comes from God.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
