Title: The Mission.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”‭‭ Luke‬ ‭4:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The gospel, the good news is on a mission to give spiritual wealth to the poor, to heal broken-hearted,

to set captives free from the bondage of satan, to give the blind sight and to proclaim the year of God's favour and grace.

To declare to every person- God is not angry with you anymore because all His anger was borne on your behalf by His Son Jesus Christ.

Almighty God wants you to receive His righteousness by simply believing on the sacrifice made by His Son Jesus Christ when He died and rose again.

Your gift of righteousness, and forgiveness of all your sin- past present and future-

is not coming to you by virtue of what you have done, but because you have believed on the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ.

When you believe in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made for you, you receive a full package that

includes redemption, sonship and victory and deliverance from the enemy satan and his demons.

The word of God further declares in Acts 26: 18 NKJV :

"To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light,

and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins

and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”‭

His word declares further: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;

it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV).

You have been made righteous, put in right standing with Almighty God, given full access into His very presence-

not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus Christ did for you-

it is the gift of God to you,  given freely to you on the basis of faith and faith alone,

faith in what Jesus Christ did for you when He suffered and died on the cross. That is the good news, the gospel.

You then need to repent and leave behind the life of sin and do works fitting repentance,

for your old person died with Christ so that you live in newness of life.

Point of Reflection:

Every born again child of God needs to be aware of their commissioning, their authorization and their sending by Almighty God.

Putting it differently, your God needs you, He has authorized you as His vessel to live, speak and spread the good news.

When you live and speak His word it will go and accomplish the purpose for which He sent it.

His word says in Isaiah 55: 10-11 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud,

that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please,

and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”‭‭

Do however seek to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Study His word to make yourself approved by God (2 Timothy 2:15) and make use of every

educational opportunity to become the best you can be in everything you do.

Be equipped for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:12).

Do you desire to execute your commission?

When you are ready-

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your grace upon my life.

Thank you for sending Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for my sin and for being my substitute in poverty and disease.

I open my heart and acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.

I denounce, renounce and reject the enemy satan and his demons from my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
