Title: Commitment to a vision is emotional.
But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb.
And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Then they said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping?'
She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and she did not know that it was Jesus.
Jesus said to her, "Woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?"
She supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if you have carried Him away,
tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away."
Jesus said to her, "Mary!"
She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say Teacher")
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them,
‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord,
and that He had spoken these things to her.”John 20:11-18 NKJV.
The Lord Jesus Christ after the resurrection appeared first to Mary Magdalene,
not to the apostles. You could ask why? I believe it was because of her passion which positioned
her to see the Lord Jesus Christ first.
Mary was weeping and seeking Jesus Christ- she wanted Him alive or dead.
She was on a mission with passion and determination. She wanted results and no-one and nothing could stand on her way.
Point of Reflection:
The women followed Jesus to the cross when the men had scattered. This was fuelled by emotion and passion.
They took notice of where He was buried.
They departed and started working gathering ointments and spices. This was fuelled by emotion and passion.
Rested the sabbath day, rose early on the first day of the week to go to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus Christ.
When Mary Magdalene did not find the body she started weeping in anguish, she wanted to find Him, even His dead body.
Jesus Christ seeing her commitment and passion appeared to her.
Please note- Jesus Christ had to appear to Mary Magdalene- this was not a scheduled visit-
He had to make a detour on His way to the Father- the reason- the passion and determination of Mary Magdalene.
God responds to passion for His work. Hence His word says:
"The zeal for Your house has consumed me"(Psalms 69:9. John 2:17)
Mary Magdalene became the first preacher of the New Testament who went and told the apostles
"I have seen the Lord, He is risen".
The whole exercise was done with deep conviction, passion and determination.
Praying for Planet Earth, including every nation in the Middle East to receive the gospel
and worship Jesus Christ freely will take praying with conviction, passion and determination followed by concrete actions.
Communicating the message of living in the presence of Almighty God will take conviction, passion and determination.
To those who will engage with God in "being witnesses to these things", in prayer and in
being faithful stewards etc- Jesus Christ will manifest Himself
as He did to Mary Magdalene and many others who through faith
"subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong,
became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” Hebrews 11:33-34 NKJV.
Glory be to God forevermore.
Do you desire to be part of the team which Almighty God will use to send His message to every corner of Planet Earth?
Do you desire Almighty God to use you to pray for an outpouring of His Spirit that will usher the second coming of Jesus Christ?
Do you desire to leave an indelible mark in the kingdom of Almighty God which cannot be erased for all eternity?
Your God needs you to set yourself apart for Him and allow His Holy Spirit to fill and empower you.
Do you desire to position yourself as an instrument in Almighty God's hands with conviction, passion and determination
and ready to do concrete actions where required?
When you are ready-
Prayer of Commitment:
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ I thank you for sending Jesus Christ your Son to die for my sin and rise again.
Today I confess the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself to serve you alone Lord.
I reject, renounce and denounce every working of the enemy satan
and his demons upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me by your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Father for it is done.
On this day Father we pray the God of the harvest, to send forth labourers into the Planet Earth harvest.
Raise men and women of passion, commitment and power- in every city and every village of this nation,
of this continent and of every nation of Planet earth.
We release the spirit of Dominion of Jesus Christ to manifest signs and miracles.
Stretch out your hand to heal and let signs and wonders be done through the name of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Year in Focus:
2025 The Year of the Overcomer.
His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who
was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you. (Habakkuk 1:5)
Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,
which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He says further:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.
As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time.
That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.
a) What you need to know:
We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly
(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.
As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.
b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.
That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);
His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11),
He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;
1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).
c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:
Run with the vision. Remember we are:
1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.
2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.
3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries
of God and substance.
4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).
5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).
6. We release the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to
manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).
d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.
He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
He says in John 14:13-14:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you.
Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).
In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.
Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.
We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one in 2025 and beyond.
As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
