Title: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;

A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.

 His praise endures forever.”‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭111:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

It is the desire of God that His people are protected from the enemy by the Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

The Spirit of the fear of the Lord says no to sin and disobedience knowing that while our Heavenly Father is loving and gracious,

He is also a consuming fire and we must serve Him with reverence and godly fear (Hebrews 12:28-29).

Our God is the great judge of all.

We also have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1 NKJV)

who paid for all our sin, past, present and future.

Through Him we live in the presence of Almighty God.

Point of reflection:

Jesus Christ said:“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.

But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew‬ ‭10:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

His word also said through Paul the apostle in 1 Corinthians 9:27 (NKJV):

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means,

when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

The apostle himself kept his body under subjection

lest after preaching to many and getting them salvation, he would be cast away.

When we love God in Jesus Christ, and desire to do His will, when we offer ourselves to God to be on His side,

we are saying no to the enemy of God and mankind, satan.

This opens the door for God to give to us the knowledge of Himself.

The love of God and the fear of God are therefore two sides of the same coin.

Obey God because you love Him and know that everything He commands us to do is for our good

because He desires for us blessing, bliss and glory

and disobeying God is by default obeying the enemy satan,

who desires for us the opposite leading to shame.

Almighty God desires that we have the spirit of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord.

By this spirit we reverence and obey Almighty God.

The spirit of the reverential and obedient fear of God enable us to co-operate with the Holy Spirit in doing the will of Almighty God.

In obedience to Almighty God we become an instrument in His hands and this is a most privileged position.

It has many benefits and rewards.

Many of Almighty God's promises to us are conditional on obedience to His commands and instructions.

(see Deutronomy 8:1-18,Deutronomy 28:1-14.)

Who then should have the spirit of the obedient and reverential fear of Almighty God?

All the earth.

For His word declares in Psalms 33:8:

“Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.”‭‭KJV‬‬.

Psalms 96:9 says “O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.”

1 Chronicles 16:25(KJV) says

“For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.”

The fear of the Lord makes you to shun sin.‭‭

There are many benefits in loving God and therefore in fearing God.

The angel of the Lord encamps around them who fear Him and delivers them (Psalms 34:7).

Psalms 34:9
declares : “O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.” (KJV).

Isaiah 59:19 tells us that they who fear the Lord shall know His glory from the rising of the sun

and when the enemy comes against them like a flood the Lord will raise a standard for them against the enemy.

Malachi 3:16-17 (KJV) declares

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened,

and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord,

and that thought upon his name.

 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels;

and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”KJV‬‬.

Here God declares that those who fear Him shall be mine, when they talk one to another,

He not only listens but sends an angel to take minutes and keeps a record.

He also declares they shall be mine and I will spare them and they shall be special jewels to me.

Glory to God.

Do you desire to be considered special by Almighty God?

When you are ready-

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for Jesus Christ who teaches me to fear you and shun sin.

Thank you Father for the spirit of the obedience and reverential fear of God,

through which I co-operate with the Holy Spirit to do the will of Almighty God.

Thank you Lord for your grace for every day and for the power and strengthening of your Holy Spirit.

I desire to do your will Lord everyday of my life and I thank you for your help everyday.

I reject you satan in the name of Jesus Christ and declare you have nothing in me and I have nothing in you.

 I belong to Jesus Christ.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
