Title: Wholly follow the Lord your God.

“Nevertheless my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people melt,

but I wholly followed the LORD my God. So Moses swore on that day, saying,

‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever,

because you have wholly followed the LORD my God.’”‭‭ Joshua‬ ‭14:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

It is the desire of God in Jesus Christ that you wholly follow the Lord your God,

that you put on the whole armour of God and that you have a strong conviction of His faithfulness,

His power and His might. Caleb the son Jephunneh, wholeheartedly followed the Lord  His God and reaped the results.

He was of strong conviction concerning what God had spoken.

His word says in Joshua 1:6-7: Be strong and of good courage,

for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do all the law

which Moses my servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left,

that you may prosper wherever you go. ( NKJV).

Wholly following the Lord is driven by a strong sense of conviction which declares:

My Almighty God is faithful, He is mighty, He is powerful, He is righteous, He is good,

He is kind, He is just, He is holy, He is merciful and more.

Faithfulness means our God follows things through, He is true to his promises, He is dependable.

Point of reflection:

The word of God says in Ephesians 6: 10-12 NKJV:

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God,

that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,

against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

It is therefore important that you keep the whole  armour of God, that you have strength of conviction about the work of the ministry.

The word of God teaches us, that when you hold fast to His word without wavering you will reap the results.

You need a key to all this and this is in your attitude towards Almighty God.

Attitude is what you need to work on- you may ask what does that mean?

You see, the word of God has built in capacity to produce the spiritual substance called faith

in those who hear it with a positive expecting attitude.

Those who have prepared the ground of their heart to be responsive to the word of God.

Those who have known Almighty God to be good, loving, holy, righteous, faithful, just and more.

Caleb's heart was deeply rooted in understanding the positive attributes of God.

So when the word of God was spoken to him- it sunk deep into his good ground, exploded- producing the spiritual substance -faith.

For His word says "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17 NKJV.

Let your heart be well prepared ground for the word of God. Let it be receptive to the word of God.

The word of God teaches us in Acts 17:11:These (Jews at Berea) were more noble than than those in Thessalonica,

in that they received the word with readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (KJV)

The scriptures here describe two different states of mind- the Jews at Thessalonica-

hard hearted, totally unreceptive to the word of God- stirring trouble and strife

- whereas the Jews at Berea- more honourable, fair minded, receiving the word with gladness of heart,

readiness of mind, searching the scriptures daily. The one group were growing in the knowledge of God

while the other were completely barren in their search for the truth.

Do you desire to reap the results of wholly following the Lord and having a strong conviction about His word?

 When you are ready-

Prayer of consecration:

My Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your abundant  grace and mercy.

Thank you for the sacrifice of the cross and the blood that was shed to deliver me from every weapon of the enemy satan.

I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from today.

I set myself apart to wholly follow the Lord my God and to wait upon His word without wavering.

I reject, renounce and denounce the enemy satan and every demonic influence upon my life,

I command you to let me go and serve my God,

for you were defeated, disarmed and stripped naked by Jesus Christ- publicly and openly on the cross.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now

and  I receive the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life.

I commit myself to wholly follow the Lord my God.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
