Title: The  Godly tithes.

“Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.

And he blessed him and said: 'Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.'

And he gave him a tithe of all.”‭‭Genesis‬ ‭14:18-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

It is a Godly thing to give a tenth of your increase to God.

Abraham gave tithes to Melchizedek who had no father, no mother, genealogy, no beginning of days or end of life.

Point of Reflection:

“For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God,

who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,”

and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” without father, without mother,

without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life,

but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.”‭‭ Hebrews‬ ‭7:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Jesus Christ is a priest forever of the order (rank) of Melchizedek.

“For He testifies: 'You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.'"‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Melchizedek was a manifestation of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

So then Melchizedek appeared to Abraham when he was returning from battle.

 Melchizedek did three things:

1.Broke bread with Abraham (the first supper),

2. Blessed Abraham

3. Received tithes from Abraham.

Abraham gave tithes under direct instruction of the Holy Spirit, as he was not under the law.

For the law came through Moses more than 400 years later. (John 1:17).

The tithe had happened when the father of faith (Abraham) met the Prince of Peace- King of Righteousness-

Melchizedek- a manifestation of the everlasting Priesthood of Jesus Christ.

Jacob also promised to bring tithes to God, again he was not under the law, his vow was of faith directed by the Holy Spirit.

In Genesis 28:20-22 we read:

Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,

so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house,

and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

Bringing tithes results in God rebuking the devourer- a demon of waste and inefficiency in your finances. (Malachi 3:8-12).

Jesus commended the tithes:

“But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs,

and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.”‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

What was the problem with the Pharisees here?- they tithed everything including money they got from selling the herbs they grew in their back garden, but neglected justice and the love of God.

Jesus Christ was saying you ought to do both, tithe yes but do not neglect justice and the love of God.

Bringing the tithes  and offerings opens a door to blessing and a deeper revelation and experience of God.

His word says in Malachi 3:12 KJV:

"And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts."

His word also says in Malachi 3:17 KJV."

And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels;

and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”‭‭

Also remember that the letter kills but the spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:6.

Tithing and offering has to be done to the spirit and not letter of the word of God.

Always be ready to do it under the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Remember also that the tithe should be your first fruit.

Do you desire to strengthen your relationship with God through tithes and offerings?

He says you shall be a blessed and delightful person.

When you are ready-

Prayer of consecration:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for redemption through the blood that was shed on the cross.

I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart for you and consecrate myself for you, to serve you with my substance.

I reject, renounce and denounce every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life.

I commit myself to you to do your will with my substance.

I commit myself to bring my tithes and offering to your house.

While I am ready to do it I will allow the Holy Spirit to direct and lead me.

Thank you for your promises of blessing upon my life.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray.

Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
