Title: You need holiness to see God.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”‭‭ Hebrews‬ ‭12:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

It is the desire and will of God  that you 'see' God, that you experience His working

and the manifestation of His power everyday of your life.

That He answers you when you call upon His name and that He manifests

His presence in your life.

He desires you to see Him, but not just with your eyes, with your every other sense-

seeing God here refers to experiencing His working and His manifestations.

Please note this scripture is not just referring to heaven.

Point of Reflection:

The essential ingredient you need to possess in your life to be able to walk with God,

experience His working and experience the manifestation of His power every day of your life is holiness.

God desires you to be holy for your benefit- because without holiness you will not be able to 'see' Him,

 experience Him, receive from Him.

Holiness is a critical ingredient of your walk with God.

That is why when certain Greeks came to Philip with a request to see Jesus Christ in John 12:21,

they were not asking about seeing His face, they were asking about experiencing His manifestations, His power, His presence:

"The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee,

and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.”‭‭ John‬ ‭12:21‬ ‭KJV

That is why His word says in Leviticus 11:45 NKJV :

"For I am the LORD who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God.

You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”‭

It says also in 1 Peter 1:15-16 NKJV:

"But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'"

‭‭His word says I am the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, to be your God.

The reason for taking you out of Egypt, an image of the life of bondage and sin is so that God can be your God,

your everything, that you may experience Him in every area of your life,

He wants to be your righteousness, your healer, your provider, your guide and shepherd,

your banner of victory, your peace and more- and for Him to be that to you, you need to be holy, because He is holy.

Putting it differently: For God to manifest God to you, you need to be holy.

What then is holiness and how do you become holy?

You need to understand  seven principal things:

 1. The Holy Spirit is the standard for holiness- you need to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

 2. You need your mind renewed and transformed by the word of God so that you think like God.

The correct understanding of the word of God is critical for holiness.

 3. Holiness is co-operating with the Holy Spirit in the way you think, speak and act.

 4. Holiness is refusing to co-operate with the enemy satan and his demons in the way you think, speak and act.

 5. Without holiness you cannot and will not 'see' God, you cannot experience the works of God in your life.

 6. You are saved by grace through faith, that brings you into the presence of Almighty God,

while in His presence, you need holiness to experience God.

7. The first step towards holiness is consecration or setting yourself apart for God. This is a decision followed by a declaration to God and also to the enemy satan.

I am yours Lord, with all that I am and with all that I am not, I give my life to you. Lord I set myself apart for you, do what you want with my life. And you satan, you have nothing in me and I have nothing in you, I command you to let me go and do the will of God. I know that you were defeated publicly and openly by Jesus Christ and you have a one-way ticket to the Lake of Fire for all eternity. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to let me go and serve my God.

The answer to the question- if Jesus Christ was here, in this situation, under these circumstances, what would He have thought,

what would He have said and done? The answer to that question leads you to the path of holiness.

To answer that question you need the word of God. Knowledge of the word of God is

therefore critical for holiness because the word of God reveals to us the character of the Holy Spirit and therefore the character of the triune God.

Holiness is to do with allegiance and co-operation with the Holy Spirit and refusing to co-operate  with the

enemy satan in the way you think, speak and act.

Because we think before we speak and act- a thought process which is directed, inspired and conceived by the word of God is critical for holiness.

Do you desire to see God and to experience His working in your life?

Do you desire Him to be your God, your everything?

When you are ready-

Prayer of consecration:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your grace and mercy upon my life.

Thank you for giving me Jesus Christ by whom I am justified and made righteous.

Thank you for the blood that was shed for my redemption.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I commit myself to allowing your word to renew and transform

the way I think so that my minds aligns with your word.

I refuse, I judge, denounce and renounce every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now

and I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus  Christ.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus

2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure

2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.

In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.

A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms

and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.

His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:

'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.

22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'

In 2026 there is help ordained for you from Almighty God. You have been waiting upon God with your heart focused on Him, on establishing His hand on Planet Earth.

Receive the help of God. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow upon your life as you meditate on His word.

What you need to know:

Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.

His word tells us:

'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.

'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).

'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' 1 Kings 8:56 (NKJV).

Remember:

'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).

(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)

What you need to understand and have a revelation of:

There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

His word tells us:

'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).

Remember also:

'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).

In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.

We read in Galatians 4:4-5:

'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).

In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.

What you need to do-

a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.

His word tells us:

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).

'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).

b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):

' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'

c) Be in prayer.

His word teaches us:

'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).

d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.

His word teaches us:

'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).

Psalms 91:15 tells us:

'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).

Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.

In the service of Jesus Christ.
