Title: Be armed with prayer and supplications.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me,
that I may open my mouth boldly,
to make known the mystery of the gospel. Ephesians 6:17-19 KJV.
It is the will of God in Jesus Christ that every child of God be armed with prayer and supplications.
The word of God teaches us that
1. We are at war.
2. The enemy we are fighting is not physical but satan and his forces of darkness.
3. The weapons we must deploy in this war include the shield of faith-
by which we must quench (extinguish, put out, snuff out) the fiery darts of the enemy.
Faith is a defensive weapon.
You need to take also offensive,
or attacking weapons- the nuclear missile, hand grenade,
machine gun of the of the Holy Spirit which is the word of God.
That is why His word says in Colossians 3:16:
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
His word also admonishes us in Joshua 1:8:
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
and then thou shalt have good success.”
Armed with the word of God we then need to pray all manner of prayers and
supplications in the Spirit for all saints but also for people in general
so that they may come to know the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Point of reflection:
When armed with the word of God,
you begin to think like God, as He reveals His ways to you.
You also build yourself in the faith as faith comes by hearing the word of God. (Romans 10:17).
Knowing the word of God is therefore at the centre of everything you can do for God.
The word of God is critical armour. The other components of this armour are- the helmet of salvation-
which is understanding righteousness, sonship, holiness, redemption and a continuous positive attitude in Jesus Christ.
The belt of truth- the correct understanding of the word of Almighty God.
Therefore knowing, memorizing the word of God
makes you a decorated soldier for Jesus Christ.
Do you desire that?
Call for Action:
Will you commit to memorise a scripture per day?
Pick a verse of scripture, read it a few times to yourself and memorise it.
As you do that and make it a habit by the end of the year, you will have known at least 365 scriptures.
After that take time to pray- always remember to pray for salvation of souls,
for the saints and spiritual leaders and also to present your own needs before Almighty God.
When you are ready-
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for salvation and forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.
I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you. Lord you can have me as your portion and as your inheritance.
I reject, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception
of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
I declare the judgement of Jesus Christ upon you in my body, in my life,
and in the lives of those you must let go to serve Almighty God.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your word Lord the offensive weapon of the Holy Spirit.
I commit myself to studying your word everyday so that
I become a well decorated soldier of Jesus Christ.
I commit myself to pray and intercede for salvation of souls and for your servants across Planet Earth.
I pray father for your power to be seen openly as you heal,
deliver the sick and raise the dead. I release your power of provision for every need in the work of the Ministry across Planet Earth.
Thank you Father for giving to us the treasures of darkness and the hidden treasures in secret places.
Thank you Father for opening your good treasury. Thank you Father that the gold is yours and the silver is yours.
Today we speak to every mountain; "Who are you O great mountain of human obstacles, before Zerubbabel you shall become like a plain."
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus
2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure
2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.
In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.
A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms
and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.
His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:
'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,
21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.
22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).
23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'
What you need to know:
Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.
His word tells us:
'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.
'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).
'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' I Kings 8:56 (NKJV).
Remember:
'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).
(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)
What you need to understand and have a revelation of:
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
His word tells us:
'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).
Remember also:
'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).
In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.
We read in Galatians 4:4-5:
'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).
In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.
What you need to do-
a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.
His word tells us:
'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).
'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).
b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):
' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'
c) Be in prayer.
His word teaches us:
'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).
d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.
His word teaches us:
'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).
Psalms 91:15 tells us:
'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).
Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.
In the service of Jesus Christ.
