Title: The fruit of prayer with fasting.
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen?
to loose the bands of wickedness,
to undo the heavy burdens,
and to let the oppressed go free,
and that ye break every yoke?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning,
and thine health shall spring forth speedily:
and thy righteousness shall go before thee;
the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward.” Isaiah 58:6, 8 KJV.
It is critical for the child of God to understand that sometimes you need to seek the Lord God in prayer with fasting,
which is abstaining from food and drink for the purpose of seeking God
and breaking through spiritual barriers.
Fasting makes your spirit to ascend into the mountain of God, into His presence just as Moses fasted for forty days and forty nights before he ascended
into the mountain of God and into His presence to obtain the ten commandments (Exodus 34:28).
Fasting makes our spirit to ascend into the presence of God allowing you to hear from Him more clearly
when it is critical to receive specific instructions from Him (Ezra 8:21).
Fasting is also critical for breaking down the power of the enemy satan in the name of Jesus Christ,
to loose people from demonic forces of wickedness,
to undo heavy burdens, to let oppressed go free and break every joke of the enemy.
Remember Jesus Christ fasted for 40 days and 40 nights before being tempted by satan. (Matthew 4:1-2).
When His disciples failed to cast a demon spirit,
He told them such demons go not away except by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).
In Daniel 10:12-13 we read of how an answer to prayer was intercepted by a demon called the prince of Persia
and Daniel fasted for 21 days and finally obtained his breakthrough.
In Acts 13:2 we read how the disciples at Antioch prayed with fasting seeking the will and guidance of the Holy Spirit before sending Barnabas and Saul on a missionary journey.
The apostle Paul says he fasted often (2 Corinthians 11:27).
Esther and the Jews fasted for three days and three nights before the deliverance
of the Jews in Shushan (Esther 4:16).
Point of reflection:
The Almighty God honours your prayer with fasting.
He says when you pray with fasting for yourself and others
your light will break forth as the morning,
your health, spiritual and physical will spring forth steadily,
your righteousness will go before you
and the glory of God will be your rear guard- will cover your back.
In other words God will put His glory upon you.
Glory be to God forevermore.
If you desire this-
Call for action:
Pick a day of the week (like today) when you will omit breakfast,
lunch and afternoon tea to call upon God for the deliverance and salvation of souls in your own nation.
Give us feedback of your experience. Fasting is a spiritual exercise and therefore needs to be done in faith.
Remember your body gets used to fasting- the more often you do it
the less onerous it becomes and the more fulfilling it will get.
If you have medical conditions requiring medications- you may need medical counsel.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father as we come together in corporate prayer for Planet Earth,
we bring every nation before you and we cry for salvation of souls,
we command the enemy satan, in the name of Jesus Christ
to let the people of God go free to serve the living God.
We bring before you those regions of the world with wars and conflict-
we ask for peace and break the demons of blood-shed.
We pray for regions with disasters, hunger, disease and other humanitarian crises-
we ask for bowls of mercy to move your people to intervene.
We break every demonic force in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask you Father to move by your Spirit across Planet Earth.
As your word is preached- confirm your word with signs following
and undeniable miracles in the name of Jesus Christ.
We bring before you national leaders and ask for your wisdom as they make decisions
so that your people may lead quiet and peacable lives in all godliness and honesty.
We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Year in Focus
2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure
2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.
In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.
A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms
and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.
His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:
'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,
21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.
22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).
23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'
What you need to know:
Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.
His word tells us:
'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.
'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).
'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' I Kings 8:56 (NKJV).
Remember:
'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).
(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)
What you need to understand and have a revelation of:
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
His word tells us:
'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).
Remember also:
'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).
In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.
We read in Galatians 4:4-5:
'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).
In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.
What you need to do-
a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.
His word tells us:
'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).
'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).
b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):
' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'
c) Be in prayer.
His word teaches us:
'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).
d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.
His word teaches us:
'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).
Psalms 91:15 tells us:
'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).
Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.
In the service of Jesus Christ.
