“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

 Before you were born I sanctified you; 

 ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 

Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 

But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, 

And whatever I command you, you shall speak.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:4-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The God of heaven knew you before you entered your mother's womb and He ordained a purpose and a mission for you. 

That purpose and mission involves serving others and the will of God is that He impacts other people and nations through you. 

There are three main areas of mission: being an intercessor, being a witness of Jesus Christ

 and being a faithful steward of what Almighty God has given you.

 One of the critical ways in which  God wants you to impact others is by being a witness of Jesus Christ.

 A witness speaks what he has seen, heard, experienced and handled concerning the Word of Life. (1John 1:1-4). 

The result of your witness is that people who hear your witness will repent

and experience fellowship with the Father in heaven and the Son Jesus Christ.

 For you it will result in a greater and deeper experience  in your fellowship with the Father 

and the Son Jesus Christ and  your joy being increased. Glory be to God forevermore.

Point of reflection:

The word of God says in Luke 24:46-48 NKJV: Then He said to them, 

“Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer

 and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and 

remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 

And you are witnesses of these things.”

Being a witness of Jesus Christ is a critical component of your purpose and mission and the most rewarding.

You need to set yourself apart and consecrate yourself for it

 because as you do that you are a partner with Almighty God in bringing salvation to others.

Prayer of commitment and consecration: 

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you that you knew me before I was in my mother's womb 

and you ordained me for your mission and purpose. 

I thank you for Jesus Christ's suffering and death by which I receive redemption. 

I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from today. 

As I experience the life of Jesus Christ Father I consecrate myself to serve you 

and to be a witness of the power of Jesus Christ and cause people 

and nations to come to salvation and the knowledge of the truth. 

 In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
