Title: In Jesus Christ Almighty God has adopted you to be His son and a member of the household of God.
“But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is,
to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name." John 1:12 AMP.
When you acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of your life,
you become adopted as a son or daughter of God and become a member of God's own household
with the full rights and privileges of a son.
Almighty God then sees you exactly as He sees Jesus Christ.
His word says in Romans 8:15-17:
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,
but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry "Abba Father."
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ,
if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. NKJV.
So you are an heir of the throne of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Wow! Glory be to God.
Point of reflection:
Being adopted to be a member of God's household is the greatest honour any person can ever dream of.
That is why His word says in 1 John 3:1 :
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” KJV.
The adoption occurs by an operation of the Holy Spirit that is why His word says
we have received not the Spirit of bondage again to fear but the Spirit of adoption which cries "Abba Father." Romans 8:15.
You have in Jesus Christ received the right of inheritance in the household of God the biggest of this inheritance is eternal life.
That is why Ephesians 2:19 says:
“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” KJV.
As you celebrate the honour and privilege of being an adopted child of God in Jesus Christ,
with full privileges remember to seek the purpose for which God is raising you up, the purpose of your sonship,
the purposes which He desires you to accomplish.

Prayer of consecration:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your own Son Jesus Christ to suffer, die and rise again.
I acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.
In the name of Jesus Christ I reject you satan, your demons and every manifestation of evil.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself Lord to accomplish your purpose and will for my life on this earth.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
