Title: The God of Jesus Christ whom we serve is the mighty God, 

God of all wisdom, the God of light and the revealer of deep and secret things.

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, 

For wisdom and might are His.
He reveals deep and secret things; 

He knows what is in the darkness,

 And light dwells with Him.”Daniel 2:20, 22 NKJV.

 Daniel the prophet faced the prospect of death together with the magicians of Babylon

 because no-one was found who could tell King Nebuchadnezzar what  he had dreamt

 and the interpretation of it.

 He saw an opportunity to distinguish his God, the Almighty God

 who sits between the Cherubims from the idol gods of Babylon.

 Our God is the God of all wisdom and might, He reveals deep and hidden, secret things. 

He knows what lurks in the darkness around the corner

 from where you are and He is the God of light.

Point of reflection: 

The attributes of God are manifested to us through Jesus Christ 

who of God is made to us the wisdom of God, and our righteousness,

redemption and sanctification (1Corinthians 1:30). 

Isaiah 9:6 declares, referring to Jesus Christ:

  “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; 

And the government will be upon His shoulder. 

And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, 

Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” 

John 1:4-5 tells us in Jesus was was life, the life was the light of men, 

the light shines in darkness and the darkness could not overcome the light. 

Do you desire Jesus Christ to reveal to you deep and secret things of your life?

 Do you desire Him to give you His wisdom as you accomplish the tasks He has set before you?

Do you desire Him to be the light of your life?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I thank you for your grace 

as we accomplish the tasks you have set before us. 

I thank you for the risen Jesus Christ my Lord and redeemer. 

I receive your wisdom today, your might and your light. 

Thank you for revealing to me the deep and secret things of the kingdom of heaven. 

I pray today for your might, wisdom, power and glory to be revealed across

Planet Earth as all nations acknowledge and worship you alone, the only true God.

 In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
