This is your Special New Year Message may it set you up for a prosperous year 2017. Please share it widely and make someone's New Year Special

Title: 2017- Our  year for the New Beginner, Higher Beginner.

“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:

 for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law,

 but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,

 being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”Philippians 3:7-11 KJV.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,

 and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

By faith Moses, when he was come to years,

 refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, 

than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:

 for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.” Hebrews 11:6, 24-26 KJV.

2017 is our year for the New Beginner, the Higher Beginner.

 We are building upon the foundation of Almighty God who has declared 

He is going to work a work in your life, ministry and on planet earth in your day

 which will make you astounded and wonder-it will make you go "wow and wow"(Habakkuk 1:5).

 As you begin this year you need to be armed with an attitude that says

 "I want to know you Jesus Christ more,

 I desire a deeper experience with your Holy Spirit

 because there is excellency in the knowledge of God."

 The apostle says the things that were gain to me I counted as rubbish

 for the excellence of the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord.

 By faith Moses refused to be called the son of royalty,

 with its privileges, pomp, ceremony and all,

 for he regarded the reward of Jesus Christ exceedingly greater than the reward of Egypt.

 He sought a reward from Almighty God. 

He too sought the excellence of heaven.

 Jesus Christ endured the cross due to the reward of a joy that was set behind the cross-

 the joy of you and me making it to heaven for all eternity (Hebrews 12:2). 

The greatest reward that Almighty God can give you is the joy of mission accomplished.

 In this year therefore seek to know Him deeper.

 Let the joy of mission accomplished be your driving force. 

In seeking mission accomplished, remember, at the centre of His work is salvation of souls- therefore:

 1. Take time to pray for salvation of souls

 and for the preaching of the cross to be followed by undeniable miracles.

 Pray also for leaders in politics across Planet Earth and for leaders in the work of the ministries. 

 2. Communicate the message of the Gospel by all means available to you-

 be a witness of Jesus Christ- part of being a witness is story telling- have you heard? 

 A witness speaks what they have seen, heard, and experienced.

 Christ said "You are witnesses of these things". (Luke 24:48).

The apostle John wrote:

 “That which was from the beginning, which we have seen with our eyes,

 which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,

 concerning the Word of life.

 The life was manifested, and we have seen, 

and bear witness and declare to you that eternal life

 which was with the Father and was manifested to us.” 1 John 1:1-2. NKJV.

Make a decision to talk what you have heard, what you have seen

 and what you have experienced.

 3.Be a faithful steward of what Almighty God has given to you. Proverbs 3:9 says:

"Honour the Lord with your possessions, 

and with the first fruits of all your increase, 

so your  barns shall be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine." Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV.

Be faithful in tithes and offerings.

As you do these activities, seek a reward, expect a reward from God.

 Remember faith is a substance of things hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1).

 What are you hoping for? James 4:2 says you have not because you ask not.

His word says ask for a sign- Isaiah 7:11.

Whatsoever thing you desire- when you pray- believe that you receive it and you will have them (Mark 11:24). 

 As you obey this word and act upon it, make a prayer request list.

For nothing shall be impossible with God. 

Call for Action:

Will you commit yourself to interceding, witnessing and financial stewardship?

As you do you, can seek and expect a reward from God.

Prayer of Commitment:

Heavenly Father I thank you for Jesus Christ and the sacrifice of the cross by which my sin is forgiven

 and I have access into the presence of Almighty God.

 I commit to seeking you and knowing you more Lord Jesus Christ in this year.  

Thank you for 2017 and the opportunities  open before me.

 I move into the higher ground and possess higher opportunities as I serve you in this year

 I re-position myself to intercede for your work and planet earth,

 to be a witness of the things I have seen concerning the word of life

 and I ask for the grace for faithful stewardship.

 Thank you that you are a rewarder of those that seek you diligently.

 I seek my reward from you as I serve you Lord.

Thank you for the joy of mission accomplished.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray.
