and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

 For kings, and for all that are in authority; 

that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life

 in all godliness and honesty.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV.

“After this manner therefore pray ye:

 Our Father which art in heaven,

 Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. 

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭KJV.‬‬

We have  learnt  that Almighty God calls many people to come to Him,

 but being a chosen one of God is your choice

 to become a co- worker with Almighty God in His agenda on the earth.

 One critical activity of the chosen in our day is spreading the word of God,

 the next critical activity of the chosen in our day is prayer of intercession.

 Praying for people to be saved, to come to the knowledge of the truth.

 That is why His word says in Ezekiel 22:29-31, that when people erred, 

Almighty God sought a man to stand in the gap

 between God and man to plead on their behalf but found none.

 Almighty God then poured out His wrath upon the people.

 Abraham interceded for Sodom  (Genesis 18:22-33),

 the result was Lot was rescued before the city was destroyed.

 Moses interceded for the children of Israel in the wilderness (Numbers 14:11-20, Exodus 32:10-14),

 the result was that Almighty God did not destroy His people

 when they angered Him because of their unbelief.

 The chosen or co-workers with Almighty God should also intercede for leaders at every level,

 national leaders etc so that they make wise decisions as we see in 1Timothy 2:1-2.

 The result will be we will live quiet and peaceable lives in all Godliness and honesty.

 When we pray "Thy kingdom come" 

we are asking Almighty God for His righteousness (salvation of souls),

peace, joy and power to come to planet earth. (Romans 14:17, 1Corinthians 4:20).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ,

  I thank you for the privilege to be counted among the chosen 

and  co-workers with Almighty God in your agenda for planet earth in my day. 

I commit myself to praying and interceding for lost souls across planet earth

 and also for leaders in the countries of planet earth starting with my own national leaders.

 I pray for your help and grace in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

 
Call for Action: 

Take a moment today to pray and intercede for salvation of souls across planet Earth.

 Ask Almighty God to move by His Spirit in an unprecedented way,

 resulting in people turning to God. 

Ask for undeniable miracles, healings, deliverances, raising of the dead

 as the word of Almighty God is preached across planet earth.

 Pray for national leaders, for wisdom that they may rule in the fear of God.
