These things saith he that is holy, he that is true,

 he that hath the key of David,

 he that openeth, and no man shutteth;

 and shutteth, and no man openeth;

 I know thy works: behold,

 I have set before thee an open door,

 and no man can shut it:

 for thou hast a little strength,

 and hast kept my word,

 and hast not denied my name.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:7-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,

 him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 

But whosoever shall deny me before men,

 him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” ‭Matthew‬ ‭10:32-33‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Point of Reflection:

Jesus Christ gives assurance of victory to every child of God

that keeps and guards His word in their hearts

 and is a witness of the power and salvation He gives.

 He is the  Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, (Revelations 1:8),

 the Author and Finisher of our life and our faith. (Hebrews12:2). 

He is the one who holds the key of David.

 The key of David is the key of the kingdom of heaven,

 the key to the ultimate seat of power and authority.

 When He opens a door before you, no- one can shut it,

 when He closes no-one can open.

 As you keep His word-that is keep obeying His instructions,

 keep obeying His word, including sharing the good news with others

 as He gives you the opportunities to do so in love,

 He makes a declaration to you:

 "I have set before you an open door which no-man can shut."

Wow praise be to God. He goes further:

 when you confess Him (Jesus Christ) before men,

 He will also confess you before His Father in heaven.

His word goes further to say, “And ye are witnesses of these things.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:48‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

It is a great honour and a privilege

 to be a witness of the power and saving grace of Jesus Christ.

 However as you do that, in speech and sometimes in as simple a way as

 forwarding a message to your friends and associates,

 He promises:

 1. To make your way continuously open,

 to keep an open door before you which no-one can shut.

 That speaks of doors of continued opportunities for you being kept open.

 2. To confess your name before the Father in heaven and before His angels- 

that opens for you God's favour and blessing upon your life.

 3. To give and increase strength and grace in everything you do. Praise be to God.

As you meditate upon this word- ask yourself-

 what has He spoken to me through His word? 

What should I be doing for my God in accomplishing His purpose and mission for my life?

Remember-at the centre of His purpose and mission is salvation of souls. 

So you could ask yourself- what am I doing to get souls into the kingdom of heaven?

Prayer:

 Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Lord Jesus Christ

 and for salvation and forgives of sin through His name.

Today I commit myself to accomplish your purpose and mission for my life.

 I commit myself to salvation of souls

 in this nation and across Planet Earth. 

Thank you for setting before me an open door

 which no-one can shut,

thank you for confessing my name before the Father

 and the favour and grace it bestores upon me,

 thank you Lord for increasing my strength

 and multiplying your grace and peace upon my life.

 In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.
