Title: The mercy and favour of God is upon you.

“But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy,

and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”Genesis 39:21 KJV.

Joseph had a dream from God. He cherished and guarded this dream.

As we read this story it begins by telling us that his father loved Joseph and gave him a coat of many colours.

Jesus Christ has loved you with everlasting love.

His word teaches us in John 13:1:

“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come

that he should depart out of this world unto the Father,

having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.”

His word also tells us that His love for us is of the greatest quality in John 15:13:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Your Heavenly Father loved you and also gave you a coat of many colours.

This speaks of the various gifts and abilities in you.

 Never despise your gifts.

Know that you are a part of the body of Christ and have functions in the body of Christ.

No part of the body can do without the other.

1 Corinthians 12:12 says “For as the body is one, and hath many members,

and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”

Verse 21 of the same chapter goes on to say: And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee:

nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.”

So child of God, know that there is a purpose for which God is raising you.

Going back to the story of Joseph- he was thrown into a deep pit,

then sold to Ishmaelites who took him to Egypt

where he was sold (for the second time) to Potiphar an officer of Pharaoh.

From there he was sent to prison for an offence he had not committed.

From the prison he became prime minister of Egypt and God's purpose was fulfilled in his life, finally.

Notice that in that journey, Joseph remained positive.

Without an  apostle or pastor to guide him and without a written scripture, he knew his God.

He knew Romans 8:28 which says:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

He loved God for sure and had been called according to His purpose,

he had set himself apart to do the will of God.

Each and every situation he went through though seemingly negative

was taking him a step closer to accomplishing his God ordained purpose.

In the process he was getting tougher and more resilient.

Let's examine the purposes- the pit- was for waiting for the Ishaemalites to arrive.

Sold to Ishmaelites- purpose to take him to Egypt where purpose of God awaited him.

Sold to Potiphar - purpose - Potiphar was officer of Pharaoh who knew how to send people to the secure prison.

Sent to prison - purpose- that's where the butler and baker of Pharaoh were also to come -

these remember were the journalists who reported Joseph to Pharaoh.

It would have been very easy for Joseph to mourn, pity-party, get into depression etc.

instead he remained positive and the presence, the favour and mercies of God manifested on him more and more.

What key did he possess- he had consecrated, set himself apart for the purpose and will of God.

Everything thrown at him was propelling him towards his mission and purpose.

Lamentation 3:22-23 says “It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Finally Joseph became Prime Minister of Egypt, his wisdom in accurately interpreting Pharaoh's dream,

not only saved the nation and the region but also his own household

and the purpose and mission of God was accomplished.

The whole story is Messianic.

What a journey to mission that was!

Point of Reflection:

Thank God for loving you in Jesus Christ with everlasting, highest quality love

and for giving you a coat of many colours.

Consecrate, set yourself apart for Him, for His purpose and for doing His will.

Declare to satan you have nothing in him and he has nothing in you,

that he was defeated on the cross and has been judged and sentenced to eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Thank the Lord for His favour and mercy upon your life

as you accomplish His purpose and will upon Planet Earth.

When you are ready-

Prayer of declaration:

Heavenly Father I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for my redemption.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

I reject, renounce and denounce every influence, working and deception of  the enemy satan

and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you that Jesus Christ loved me with everlasting love and highest quality love.

Thank you that Jesus Christ gave to me a coat of many colours.

Thank you that all things work together for good for me because I love you and I'm called according to your purpose and will.

Thank you that because you are on my side, nobody can be against me.

Thank you that in all things I conquer overwhelmingly through Jesus Christ my Lord.

I bring before you today Father, Planet Ministries and release your grace that we may accomplish your purpose and will

Year in Focus:

With best wishes for the Year 2024, the year in which the Lord God is visiting His restless ones with an anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage of the enemy.

There is a big financial dimension to the victory for the restless ones in 2024. The yoke of poverty and financial struggles is being broken.

a) Things you need to know:

The year in which the restless ones rise up with the zeal of Almighty God to cause the spreading of the cities of Almighty God through prosperity.

Almighty God says: proclaim saying 'Thus saith the Lord of Hosts: "Iam zealous for Jerusalem with great zeal."' Zechariah 1:14

He also says: 'Thus says the Lord, "I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it," says the Lord of Hosts,

"And a surveyor's line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem."' Zechariah 1:16. See also Zechariah 8:1-5, 12-13, 15, 21 and 23.

He goes further to say: "Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity;

The Lord will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem."' Zechariah 1:17.

He says: "Take the silver and gold, make an elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest." Zechariah 6:11.

Almighty God wants to put an elaborate crown of gold and silver upon your head.

b) What you need to do:

1. In 2023, take away your measuring line.

Do not limit what God can do for you and through you in the way you think, the way you speak and the way you act.

Do not limit the Holy One of Israel. ( Zechariah 1:1-5 )

In Psalms 78:41: His word says:Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.

Remember also Ephesians 3:20 says: He is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all we think and ask, by the power at work within us.

2. Call with a strong conviction on the Almighty God for whom all things are possible, for whom nothing shall be impossible.

Remember His waord says in Genesis 18:10-14:

10 And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”
(Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)

11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
13 And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’

14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

See also Jeremiah 32:17-22, Jeremiah 32:26-27.

In Luke 1:34-38 we read:

34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you;

therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.

37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

See also Mark 10;27 and Matthew 19:26.

Remember the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you- to make the will of Almighty God happen in your life and in the work of the Ministry.

In Jeremiah 32:19 -21 we read that our Almighty God is great in counsel and mighty in deeds and that He brought out His people Israel from the land of Egypt with signs and wonders,

with a strong hand, and an outstretched arm and with great terror and He gave them the land that flows with milk and honey- they came in and took possession of it.

Let Him give you His counsel, let Him show you His signs and wonders, go in and take possession.

c) What you need to understand (have a revelation of):

You need to understand the following things:

1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.

In Genesis 21:1-2 we read: 1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.

2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

2. Almighty God fulfils His promises.

In Numbers 23:19-20 we read:

19 God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

In  Isaiah 46:9-11 we read:

9 Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.

3. It has been done before-

Remember in her restlessness Rachael cried: Give me children or else I die (Genesis 30:1). God answered her prayer and she bore Joseph, who subsequently received

the portion of the first born of Israel.

In her restlessness, Hannah prayed for a male child and pledged to give him to the Lord all the days of her life. God answered her prayer and she bore Samuel,

a mighty prophet of God who was also a judge of Israel. (1 Samuel 1:11).

In her restlessness Mary Magdalene sought to find where they had laid the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and she refused to be comforted.

The Lord Jesus had to make an unscheduled visit to the tomb while on His way to the Father. The Lord Jesus Christ had to appear to Mary. (John 20:11-18).

We love you and continue to pray for you as you set yourself apart and consecrate yourself for the purposes of Almighty God on the Earth in our day.
