Title: The robber you encountered.

“Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, 

who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 

Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.

 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.”‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:30-33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As you journeyed in your life, you met a robber on your journey, who robbed you, wounded you and left you for dead.

 The robber is the wicked one, the evil one, satan. 

Every negative thing to ever happen to you was orchestrated by this person.

 You can reflect on your own personal experience of what this robber did to you.

 To get out of your predicament, you tried religion, which was no help at all,

 then you tried all forms of human wisdom, counseling, education and even doctors etc

  all passed you by the other side as well.

You are still in pain, grief, depression, anxiety etc.

 But how I thank God for the Good Samaritan,

 Jesus Christ who also passed your way as you lay wounded, naked and left for dead. 

He had compassion on you. What did He do?

He went to the root of your problem.

1. He died for you, shedding His own blood so that you can be brought back into right standing with God.

    Through Him you  have forgiveness of sin and be given the gift of eternal life.

 2. He carried your pain, anguish, anxiety and depression: 

     He was wounded for your transgression,

    the beating needful to bring you peace and well-being was upon Him.

    and by His stripes you are healed.

    God raised Him from the dead for your justification. 

He wants to give you the experience of the Holy Spirit in your life-

 through Him you will know a different kind of joy, a different kind of peace, a different kind of freedom.

 He wants you to usher you into an experience of Almighty God's favour,

 to usher you into His salvation and for you to experience the free favors of God profusely abounding to you.

 Do you desire to experience the free favour of the risen Jesus Christ upon your life?

Prayer for favour:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for my redemption, 

and to bring me into right standing with God and to bring me free favours of Almighty God.

 Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

 I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

 I reject, denounce and renounce every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life.

 I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.

 I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life.

 In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

As you have prayed sincerely know that Jesus Christ has heard you and ushered you into right standing with God. 

You are now a born again child of God.

 You are now an adopted member of God's own household through Jesus Christ. Your sin is forgiven.

 You have received the gift of eternal life.

 Congratulations as this is the most important prayer anybody can ever make in this life.
