Seek the favour of God through obedience to His word and focusing to do His will and  purpose.

Notice His word says: Jacob I loved but Esau I hated (Romans 9:13).

 Jacob found favour with God but Esau lost favour due to despising his birthright.

 In his birthright was the full purpose of God, 

when he lost the birthright, he lost relevance and lost everything.

This was not because somehow Jacob was liked by God and Esau hated.

This was driven by the choices made by these two.

God is not a respecter of persons, but responds to the choices we make towards Him.

David found favour with God -why, because He was a man desiring to do the will of Almighty God,

 he was a man who sought the will of God to do it, he was a man after God's own heart. 

Hence His word says in Acts 7:46 referring to David 

"Who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. 

And Almighty God declared "in David I have found a man after my own heart,

 who will do all my will and carry out my program fully".”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭13:22‬ ‭AMP‬‬


When you find favour with Almighty God:

1. You will find favour with men-Joseph found favour with God and also with jail keeper (Genesis 39:21).

2. You will be built up, fortified and secure - you are established as a strong mountain.

 (Psalms 30:7 “By Your favor, O Lord, You have established me as a strong mountain; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.”

3. He will send you help from unexpected sources- sons of strangers will build up your walls and their kings shall minister to you. (Isaiah 60:10).

4. He promises to protect you.

5. He promises to guide you.

6. He promises to teach you.

7. He promises to reward you. (Deuteronomy 32: 9-14)

Do you desire to have the favour of Almighty God?

In Jesus Christ you have been granted access to favour upon favour, grace upon grace. 

Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you to reveal to you the mind of God,

 His desire, His purpose and His will for your life. 

This will allow you to possess what you are entitled to in Jesus Christ.

Prayer of consecration:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ I thank you for your grace in Jesus Christ.

 Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to allow me access to the Father. 

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. 

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

 I reject, denounce and renounce every working of the enemy satan upon my life.

 You were disarmed and  defeated publicly by Jesus Christ on the cross.

 I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now in the name of Jesus Christ.

 I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

 Holy Spirit reveal to me the purpose and will of the Father upon my life.

 I seek to be a person after your own heart.

 I seek your favour and your face to shine upon me.

 Thank you Father that from the fullness of Jesus Christ

 I receive grace upon grace and favour upon  favour.
