Title: Knowledge of Jesus Christ is experiencing His capabilities.

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,

for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish,

that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness,

which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,

and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,”‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:7-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit declares that he had to let go everything else he thought he had so that he could win Jesus Christ.

Point of Reflection:

What does it mean to gain Christ, to be found in Christ and to know Him.

The scriptures tell us in I Corinthians 1:30 that Jesus Christ was made to be for us

 wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

His word also refers to Jesus Christ in Isaiah 9:6 as Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The attributes of Jesus Christ are revealed to us through the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

That is why John 14:6 gives us further attributes of the Spirit of Jesus Christ as

Helper, Advocate, Comforter, Intercessor, Strengthener, And Standby (AMP).

Knowing Jesus Christ therefore means knowing and experiencing His attributes:

His wisdom, His sanctification or consecration, His redemption in every area of life,

when He reveals Himself to you as Father, it means He gives you character.

When He reveals Himself to you as Wonderful, it means He gives you qualities of excellence.

When He reveals Himself to you as Mighty God it means He shows you His power.

Like wise He desires you to know His peace, strength, help and comfort.

He desires you to know and have His wisdom

and wants to be your advocate and to do advocacy for you- to persuade people to favour you when you are not there.

To let His goodness in you be revealed in others so that they show you favour when it matters.

He desires to be your Standby- your body guard and  your defence.

 Glory  be to God forevermore.

Do you desire to experience His attributes through the power of His Holy Spirit?

Refuse to short change yourself. It is the desire of God that you experience the full manifestation of Jesus Christ.

When you are ready-

Prayer of faith:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to be my giver of capacity to be everything I need to be.

Thank you for redemption in Jesus Christ.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart for you for you are my sanctification.

I receive your wisdom and counsel in all I need to do and to become.

I receive your excellence, your character, your peace.

Thank you for demonstrating your power in every situation I face.

Thank you for being my advocate and granting me favour of men.

Thank you for your protection, help and comfort.

I reject, denounce and renounce the enemy satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Father for manifesting Jesus Christ and all His attributes to my family.

Thank you Father  for manifesting Jesus Christ and all His attributes to Planet Ministry.

Thank you Father for manifesting Jesus Christ and all His attributes

to each and every child of God on planet earth.

Reveal to me Father and grant me an experience of the attributes of the Christ ...............

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
