Title: God's promises to our children.

“All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Our God is faithful to our seed, to our children, both physical and spiritual children. 

Point of Reflection:

 As you pray for your children, those present and those to come, remember His word declares: Your children shall be taught by the Lord Himself - that means He will reveal Himself to them. 

Remember the God of Abraham revealed Himself to Isaac and then to Jacob individually and separately. When Almighty God appeared to Moses, He introduced Himself as  - "I am the God of your father- the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God , and the God of Jacob" (Exodus 3:6).

 Notice He did not say the God of your fathers as in plural but of your father as in one. To Isaac He was the God of his father Abraham, to Jacob, He was the God of his Father Isaac - Almighty God separately and individually revealed Himself to the children as the God of their father. 

His word goes on to say- and great shall be the peace of your children. 

Notice also Psalms 89:29-33 NKJV: "His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven. If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments, if they break My statutes and do not keep My commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless My loving kindness I will not utterly take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail.

”‭‭Notice also that Judges 13:8 NKJV says: "Then Manoah prayed to the LORD, and said, 'O my Lord, please let the Man of God whom You sent come to us again and teach us what we shall do for the child who will be born.'"

Note therefore the following, as you serve God, bringing His will on the earth as a set apart and consecrated child and servant of God,

 He promises:

1. To reveal Himself to your children, to teach your children God.

2. To grant great peace to your children.

3. To correct our children when and if they stray- with the rod of God if necessary, with stripes of God if necessary.

4. He will never take away His loving kindness from them.

5. He will never allow His faithfulness to fail. 

6. Like Manoa cry that God may teach you and give you wisdom of the best way to guide your children (both physical and spiritual),  the best way for them to reach their God given potential. 

Do you desire God to teach you and give you wisdom in raising children ?

Prayer to consecrate our children:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your faithfulness in Jesus Christ. Thank you that Jesus suffered and died so that our children may know the Father.

 Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. I denounce every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life. I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now in the name of Jesus Christ. I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.I thank you Father for revealing yourself to my children, I thank you Father for your great  peace upon my children, I thank you Father for correcting my children with the rod of chastisement if necessary.

I thank you Father for never taking away your loving kindness from them.I thank you Father for never allowing you faithfulness upon my children to fail.

 I release the salvation of Jesus Christ and the filling of the Holy Spirit upon my children in the name of Jesus Christ. Today I commit my children to you and to your promises now and for all eternity. I celebrate your faithfulness in the lives of my children in the name of Jesus Christ. I commit to you today all the children of planet earth. I pray for them in the same manner Lord and command the enemy satan and his demons, to let them go and serve God, that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. To you Father I give all the glory.  In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
