Title: Entering maturity. 

“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Becoming a mature child of Almighty God is a choice you need to make because maturity is entered into. You need to make a decision to receive, get hold of and begin to make use of the mind set of a mature child of God. 

Point of Reflection:

When you make up your mind about putting away childish things and embracing the responsibilities of a mature child of God, that decision opens the door for you to know  God the Father. That is why Jesus Christ says in John 17:3 NKJV "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

That is why His word also says in 1John 2:13 NKJV "I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father.”‭‭

When you make a decision to put away childish things, Almighty God decides to fill you with the knowledge of Himself, that knowledge of God exposes the enemy satan to you.The knowledge of God brings with it strength of conviction to His word which is critical ingredient for overcoming the wicked one, satan.  Glory be to God forevermore. 

God wants you to be His extension on the earth and that you be the person who carries and executes His agenda on the earth. 

To do this you need to transition to  maturity, a mature mind set, the mind set of a responsible child of God.

Do you desire to be an extension of God and to carry out His purposes on the earth?

Prayer of consecration:

 Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for me. I confess the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today. I reject every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life. Today I make up my mind to reject childish things and I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now. I receive the abundant outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon my life. Thank you Father for hearing me and for revealing the Father to me. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
