“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Faith in Almighty God gives thanks and celebrates God's faithfulness and goodness before the manifestation of the request. In so doing you allow the Holy Spirit to direct your desires to line up with His purposes  and His will.

Point of Reflection:

His word says in Psalms 84:11 NKJV: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

 Notice here the Lord is a sun -(to give light and direct your desires to His will),

 He is a shield (to protect and defend you, guards you from making wrong decisions),

 He gives grace (a working of God in your life borne out of activity on the side of God that gives you unmerited favour and ability)

 and glory- allows you to share in His goodness. The situation described here gives you access into His presence from which you will be able to discern His will and purpose (James 4:3). In that situation no good thing will He withhold from you as you will be walking uprightly. Uprightness denotes not only being forthright and genuine but also being  correct and asking correctly.

 When you pray, believe that you receive and you shall have. That means you believe you have before you have seen the physical manifestation. That is why His word says in 1John 5:14-15 NKJV : "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”‭‭
Do you desire to pray correctly and receive from God every time you pray? The key is in asking according to His will and having ability to discern His purpose and will.When you are ready-
Prayer of Consecration :
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you that in Jesus Christ you have given me access to your presence. Thank you that you made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to become sin for me so that I might become the righteousness of God in Him. Today I confess the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life. I seek your will and purpose for my life. Thank you for grace and glory and that no good thing do you withhold from them that walk uprightly. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
