Title: Have faith in God.

“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬.

To receive anything from Almighty God you need to have a spiritual substance called faith. As much as the pound, the dollar, yen etc are currencies we use to receive goods on the earthly kingdoms, to receive from God you need faith and it is a substance, a spiritual substance. It is critical for you to understand how this substance is obtained (in as much as we need to understand how to get money in the earthly kingdoms) and how it is used. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Point of Reflection:

Faith comes by hearing the word of God with the correct attitude of mind which allows your soul (intellect, emotions, will and conscience) to view God positively as a being who is righteous, kind, just, holy and intrinsically good. This attitude allows the word to penetrate deep into your being. Hence the word of God says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Putting it differently, the word of God has built within itself the substance called faith however the word needs to penetrate deep enough into your being to explode and release that substance. When the spiritual substance is released and you have got it, you know in the mind but also in the spirit that it is done. Understand the word of God, take time to meditate upon it, talk it back to God in prayer, talk it back to yourself in making declarations of faith.

Prayer of commitment:

 Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for my sin. I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today. Thank you for your loving kindness which is better than life and for your mercies which are new every morning. Thank you that Jesus Christ became sin for me so that I may become the righteousness of God. I reject every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life and I command you to let me go and serve my God. I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit, right now. I receive and embrace the supernatural working of your word in my life. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
