Title: Perfected through the sacrifice of the cross.
“For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy. And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.””Hebrews 10:14-16 NLT
You have been saved by grace (God's undeserved, unmerited favour, born out of God's actions on our behalf) through faith, this is not of yourself, it is not your own doing, it is the gift (given freely as a present) of God, not of works (not because of what we have done), so no-one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Point of reflection:
Never doubt your salvation. Doing so is questioning God's faithfulness and mercy. Jesus Christ died for your sins once and for all on the cross of Calvary. That is why His word says:By one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy (Hebrews 10:14).
Remember and memorise the following scriptures because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17). In other words if you embrace the word of God with a positive attitude, it has built within itself the capacity to produce the spiritual substance called faith in you. You need faith to please God and to receive from God (Hebrews 11:6).
Romans 3:23( NLT): “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 5:1 (NLT): “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.”
Acts 16:30-31 (NLT): “Then he brought them out and asked, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.'"
Titus 3:4-5 (NLT): “But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.”
Glory be to God forevermore. You need to have full assurance that when you called upon the name of Jesus Christ you were forgiven, born again, saved and ushered into eternal life. Do you need assurance of salvation? When you are ready-
Prayer of consecration (setting yourself apart for God):
My Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you that by one sacrifice, Jesus Christ has forever perfected those who are being made holy. I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today. I set myself apart to serve you alone Lord and I denounce every working of the enemy Satan and his demons upon my life. I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ right now to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
