Title: The God of Jesus Christ who called you will go before you.
“Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron'.” Isaiah 45:1-2 NKJV
As you commit yourself to live for Jesus Christ, to accomplish His will and purpose on the earth, the Father makes a promise to you- to go before you. This means before you take your journey, He will take it Himself first without you, to map out the best route and remove potholes, make crooked places straight, where there are gates and bars on the way, He will break them before you arrive. Where the room was tight and narrow, He will widen it, where decision makers need to give you room and way, He will loosen their minds to be receptive to you as you accomplish His purposes on the earth. Glory be to God forevermore.
Point of reflection: In your journey with God, as you accomplish His purposes, a way must be made before you. Celebrate the God who goes before you. Allow His word to empower you to think like God, to discern His will and purpose for your life. His word says God is at work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Allow His Holy Spirit as you meditate on His word to guide you and mould you into His will. This will help you to see the way He has opened before you. His word says in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV “But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” His word goes further to say that we have received the Spirit which is of God that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God. (1Corinthians 2:12). Do you desire to know the things that have been freely given you by God? When you are ready-
Prayer of consecration and revelation: Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your faithfulness and for your kindness. Thank you for the grace I receive through the risen Jesus Christ whom I acknowledge as Lord of my life from today. I reject every working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life. I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now. I pray Father for the spirit of revelation that I may know the things that are freely given to me by God, that I may know the path you have opened before me. I yield my life to your will and purpose. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
