Title: God in Jesus Christ wants to work a work in your day.
“O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.”
Habakkuk 1:2, 5 KJV.
It is the desire of God to accomplish His purposes through you. The prophet Habakkuk was distressed about what was happening around Him in his time. A lot of negative things were happening. He prayed, at first nothing appeared to be happening, then God answered- I will work a work in your day, you will wonder, and marvel and say wow!
When Moses went to Pharaoh to say the message from God, conditions for children of Israel worsened but what then followed was a great deliverance.
“And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.”
Exodus 5:22-23 KJV
Remember also that Galatians 4:4-5 tells us “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” KJV.
So child of God do not despair, continue to seek the face of Jesus Christ, to seek His will and at this time -continue to pray for salvation of souls across Planet Earth, for peace and well- being, pray for national and world leaders, that God in Jesus Christ may give them wisdom to rule in the fear of God and facilitate the spread of the saving gospel of Jesus Christ in every nation on earth. Continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness knowing everything else will be added to you. (Matthew 6:33). God in Jesus Christ desires to work a work in your day in your life, community, nation and across earth which you will wonder and marvel at. Continue to seek Him.
Prayer: Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to redeem me that I may receive adoption as a son of God. I thank you for your word for I know you desire to work a work in my day in my life, community, nation and planet, I continue to seek your face, your guidance everyday and your strength for everyday. Amen.
