Title: Walking in the will of Jesus Christ makes your wars, God's wars.
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
Matthew
6:10 KJV
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew
7:21 KJV
One of the most critical things for a child of God is seeking the will of God. For you child of God to understand this further you need to understand His credentials and capabilities and your relationship to Him.
In Genesis 17: 1-8, God spoke to Abraham first His credentials, I am Almighty God- I am the God of all capabilities, possibilities and abilities. Nothing is impossible with me. Then God revealed to Abraham what He wanted to use His credentials to do in the life of Abraham. I will be God to you, I will give you the land of my promise ( joy, peace, well- being, blessing and positive outcomes in every area of your life), I will multiply you exceedingly, I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make you a father (a person of stature, character and achievement). God makes the same promises to you. The bridge between God's capabilities and their manifestation in Abraham's life ( and in your life is) was "walk before me" . In other words there was a condition to the blessing, there was a condition for Abraham to experience the credentials of God-the only condition was obedience to the will of God, living and walking as God directed, seeking the will of God in all he did. The same condition applies to you. To experience His full blessing you need to seek and surrender your life to His will.
That is why the Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray and seek God's will for everyday
of our lives. So, remember to ask God before every decision you make- is this your will Lord? You need to have a consciousness about His will in all you do. When you do that you will experience His presence in your life more and more. Doing the will of God is a central component in your salvation.
Doing the will of God is not always easy. However, the bigger the sacrifice you need to make to do the will of God, the bigger the victory you will get. In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ remembered to say, not my will but yours be done. When Jesus Christ obeyed God unto death, God released resurrection power to exalt Him to the highest office and give Him a name above every other name. (Ephesians
1:20-22). When you walk in God's will, your battles become His battles, your wars become His wars. With His credentials you will always be assured of victory.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for Jesus Christ, who was obedient unto death. I ask for your will to be done in my life in all things. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
