“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
1 John 1:1-3 KJV
It is the desire of God that the life of Jesus Christ be manifested to you. That you experience His presence and His working in your life. Manifestation of Jesus Christ means He discloses and reveals His nature to you. It means He will shows Himself to you. When that happens, you will have fellowship or companionship with the Father- because Jesus reveals God the Father and the Holy Spirit to you. Glory to God! The result will be that you will experience God for yourself. Jesus Christ will do activity in your life- there are things of God you will feel, experience, and see. You will be able to speak, make declarations and bear witness to the working of Jesus Christ in your life.
That is why His word says in 2 Corinthians 4:10 :Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” (KJV).
When you die to self, to your own desires and let the desires of Jesus Christ rule you, His life will be manifested to you. Praise be to God. Instead of living your life with Jesus Christ, let Him live His life through you. He becomes pre- eminent and His life is manifested to you, you will have fellowship and companionship with Jesus Christ and hence God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I deny self and seek your will in all I do, live your life through me. I seek your pre-eminence in all I do. Let the life of Jesus Christ be manifested in my body so that I may experience fellowship with you Lord. To you Lord I give all the glory. Amen.
