Title: Jesus Christ the loving Son
"This is how we know love: Jesus laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”
1 John 3:16 CEB
Life has many questions for us especially when we suffer. One important question : Does Jesus love us? - has been answered finally and forever. The son of God loves us and gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20). Life's problems may drive us to ask "why? or "how long? and "Does God still love me?" We never need to doubt the answer- Jesus's answer is a resounding yes! (2 Corinthians 1:20) Yes -He means what He says in all His previous promises to us. Yes -His great heart cares for us today as much as it did when it burst with love on the cross. Yes -His powerful hands hold us securely, keeping us safe from the devil. Nothing -not even the worst trial, not even death itself can separates us from God's love, which is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:38-39)
Having known and experienced such a complete love, we face the future and even trials, with complete confidence in Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith.
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus for laying down your life for us. Thank you for answering all our questions. Now we can face the future with confident knowing that no matter what -you love us. Thank you Lord for such precious and eternal love
Confession: I am a child of God, washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. God has loved me in Jesus Christ with eternal love. For no greater love has any man than this, that He laid down His life for me. I can confidently say, nothing can ever separate me from the love of Jesus Christ my Lord.
