Title: The power of your positive confession.
“And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city.
So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.”
Joshua 6:16, 20 KJV
The word says: “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”
2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV.
The spirit of faith make us confess outcomes according to the word of God. Sometimes God's children make negative confessions and those confessions entice them.
“Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.”
Proverbs 6:2 KJV
Therefore remember the word of God when allowed to explode inside us, releases faith, the spirit of faith in turn makes us confess according to the word, positive confessions that empower and uplift. Remember your battle is renewing your mind to think according to the word of God for every given situation. After thinking we speak, then act. There is power in positive confession according to the word of God. Confess His joy, peace, health, emotional well-being, victory, provision, protection, guidance etc. according to His word. (See also Psalm 23:1-2, 1Peter 2:24, 1Corinthians 15:57, John 14:27).
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for accomplishing victory in every area of my life on the cross. Thank you that your word prevails against every negative circumstance I face. I ask for your wisdom in all I do. Amen.
Confession: I am a child of God, I live and walk in victory in every area of my life due to the accomplished work of salvation which the Lord Jesus Christ did for me.
