Title: Sealed and vacuum packed for the day of redemption.

“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation;

in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,

to the praise of His glory.”??Ephesians? ?1:13-14? ?NKJV.

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,

by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”??Ephesians? ?4:30? ?NKJV??.

After believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, your old spirit was removed and replaced

by a brand new born again spirit, which was intermarried with the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Hence you are a new creature, old things have passed away and all things are new. (2 Corinthians 5:21).

 This refers to your spirit.

Point of Reflection:

Your new spirit was sealed by the Holy Spirit, vacuum packed for preservation until the day of redemption.

The Greek word used for seal is spragizo- to put a mark on an object to show possession, authority, identity and security.

The Holy Spirit is also the guarantor of your inheritance of eternal life and your redemption.

He is the deposit and down- payment by God that He redeemed you in Jesus Christ.

Your redemption will be complete on the day you meet the Lord.

The Holy Spirit in you is also a witness within you of your redemption in Jesus Christ.

 Hence His word says:

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children,

then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him,

that we may also be glorified together.”??Romans? ?8:16-17? ?NKJV??.

The Holy Spirit is therefore:

1. The seal of your redemption.

2. The deposit and down- payment by God regarding your redemption

3. The guarantor of your inheritance

4. The witness to you that God in Jesus Christ redeemed you for eternity.

Your  failures after being born again remain in your body and soul and do not penetrate to your spirit.

That is why 1 John 3:9 NKJV says:

“Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin,

because he has been born of God.”

This scripture refers to your born-again spirit. Glory be to God.

Do you desire to celebrate the fortitude and assurance that Almighty God has put around your salvation and eternal inheritance?

When you are ready-

Prayer of thanksgiving:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for redemption through the blood He shed on the cross.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I reject, denounce and renounce  every workig, influence and deception of the enemy satan

and his demons and refuse to be conformed to this world.

I offer my body as a living sacrifice to you God.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you alone  Father to seek and to do your will.

Thank you  Holy Spirit for sealing me for the day of redemption and also for being the deposit, down payment and gaurantor of my inheritance in Jesus Christ.

I pray Father for your children across Planet Earth that you may give them a spirit of revelation into the riches we have in Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

With best wishes for the New Year 2020 and New Decade in which Almighty God is calling out a people who will be

a special treasure to Him (Exodus 19:4-5).

A people who have set themselves apart and consecrated themselves to become His portion and His inheritance (Deuteronomy 32:9).

A people who are vessels of honour in His house (2 Timothy 2:20-21).

For these people He promises to lead and guide them by His Holy Spirit as they accomplish His  purpose on the Earth,

to fight their wars and battles and to protect them from the attacks of the enemy.

These people join hands with Almighty God as they pray for salvation of souls,

as they witness the love of Jesus Christ and as they exercise faithful stewardship to make ready

a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:13-17).

We love you as we invite you to set yourself apart to become Almighty God's portion and inheritance in Jesus Christ.
