Title: The people who know their God in Jesus Christ will stand firm and do exploits.
“And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”

Here we are given chronicles of people who opened their hearts and minds to the word of God, allowed it to transform the way they thought, talked and behaved. They allowed the word to give them an experience of God. What did they accomplish? They obtained righteousness- through opening their mind to the word Almighty God declared them to be in right standing with Him, and allowed them to enter into His presence where they obtained the full package: they subdued kingdoms of the enemy Satan, they obtained promises, they stopped the mouths of lions (Daniel 6:23-27) stopped violence of fire (Daniel 3:26-27) out of weakness were made strong and more... Wow!
Point of reflection: His word says in Daniel 11:32“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” He desires that you know Him, you experience His power and His presence then stand firm empowered by Him to do exploits for your God. Glory be to God. It has been done by others before over and over again. You are not a pioneer in this journey- just follow the footsteps of those who have gone before you. Begin by a change in attitude to His word, allow it to penetrate deep and explode inside you. Before you know it you will be in His presence and your whole past will become history after that. Prayer of consecration:
Heavenly Father in the name of your Son Jesus Christ I thank you for the work accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross for my redemption. I open my heart to your word today and I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from today. I reject Satan and every demonic influence upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ and I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
