Title: When you hold fast to the word of God in Jesus Christ,
you become an overcomer to whom God promises a crown.
“Behold, I am coming quickly!
Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God,
and he shall go out no more.
I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God,
the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God.
And I will write on him My new name.” Revelation 3:11-12 NKJV.
It is critical for the child of God that you take on yourself an overcoming spirit.
Overcoming the wicked one happens when we have a strong conviction of the word of God
and have known and have had a personal experience of God and of His Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 2:13-14 tells us: "I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who was from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
and you have overcome the wicked one."
The beginning point in all this (following receiving Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit)
is a commitment to study and meditate upon the word of God prayerfully- this will result in increased strength of conviction
and in turn will lead to a knowledge of the Father as you put that word into practice and experience the Father for yourself.
The result of studying the word, a strong conviction and knowing the Father is overcoming the wicked one.
Point of reflection:
A strong conviction of the word results from meditating on the word of God prayerfully,
the word of God then becomes alive inside you.
There are benefits of holding fast on His word,
having a strong conviction of the word and knowing God personally and becoming an overcomer.
Firstly there is a crown of glory reserved for overcomers of the wicked one-
God will put His crown of glory and His goodness upon you. The crown of glory speaks of victory in the affairs of this life.
Whatever you do will prosper. His crown of glory comes with wisdom for success in the affairs of this life.
Secondly, overcomers are made pillars in the house of Jesus Christ- right here on this earth-
a distinguished person, a resource person, a giver of fruit and imparter of hope.
A light that shines in dark areas of other people,
a salt, flavoring and condiment in the life of others.
Thirdly to overcomers Almighty God promises to write His name upon you
and the name of the city of God, the new Jerusalem.
You become the place where the different aspects of the life of God is found.
The different manifestations of the manifold wisdom of God. Wow!
Glory be to God.
Overcoming the wicked one starts from within,
allowing the word of God to root out negative character traits and allowing it to change the way you think so that your
life manifests the life and character of Jesus Christ.
Do you desire this?
Take some time to commit yourself to a deeper relationship with the word of Almighty God.
When you are ready-
Prayer:
Heavenly Father I thank you that through your Son Jesus Christ I can know you personally.
Thank you that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and is alive today.
I confess you Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from today.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you. Lord, you can have me as your portion and as your inheritance.
I reject, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception
of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life and mine in the name of Jesus Christ.
I declare that you are judged in my body, in my life and in my affairs in the name of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ I cast you out of the affairs of my life and ministry.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life
in the name of Jesus Christ.
I pray for the grace to hold fast onto your word and allow your word to change me on the inside.
I commit myself to your word, to meditate upon it prayerfully.
I receive the grace to overcome the wicked one satan, knowing that he was defeated,
stripped naked and disarmed publicly and openly by Jesus Christ on the cross.
I bring before you your servants, the labourers in the harvest and ask
for your grace upon their lives to experience the power of your word and to overcome the wicked one.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus
2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure
2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.
In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.
A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms
and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.
His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:
'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,
21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.
22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).
23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'
What you need to know:
Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.
His word tells us:
'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.
'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).
'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' I Kings 8:56 (NKJV).
Remember:
'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).
(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)
What you need to understand and have a revelation of:
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
His word tells us:
'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).
Remember also:
'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).
In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.
We read in Galatians 4:4-5:
'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).
In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.
What you need to do-
a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.
His word tells us:
'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).
'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).
b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):
' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'
c) Be in prayer.
His word teaches us:
'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).
d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.
His word teaches us:
'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).
Psalms 91:15 tells us:
'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).
Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.
In the service of Jesus Christ.
