Title: Allow the Holy Spirit to give you an experience of Jesus Christ.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men,
they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 KJV.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every man
that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15 KJV.
Point of Reflection:
Simon Peter, the apostle who had been with Jesus Christ for three years,
denied Jesus Christ in His presence and within earshot when confronted by a little girl.
He denied Him not once, not twice, but three times. When Jesus looked at Peter to remind Him of what he had just done,
Peter went outside and wept loudly, but failed to repent. (Luke 22:56-60 KJV).
After Jesus Christ had ascended to heaven the same Peter stood boldly
to preach salvation through Jesus Christ before thousands of people
from all over the world- mostly total strangers.
What made the critical difference?
He and the rest of the apostles had been filled with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ had told them:
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”Acts 1:8 KJV.
After being filled with the Holy Spirit Simon Peter preached Jesus Christ
and prayed for people to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit saying:
“For the promise (of the Holy Spirit) is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:39 KJV.
People marveled at the boldness of Peter and John and the wisdom they spake
and realised these men were of little formal education
but then remembered they had been with Jesus Christ.
So child of God earnestly desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit
for He will give you boldness and confidence to face situations of life and to declare Jesus Christ to others.
The Holy Spirit will teach you about God, He reveals Jesus Christ to you, He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
He will be your helper and guide in things pertaining to the kingdom of God. He makes the word of God alive inside you. (John 14:16-26).
Remember this:
The Holy Spirit is given as a gift.
It gives power (greek dynamis- miracle working power).
He makes the difference between weakness and power,
fear and boldness, timidity and confidence, barrenness and fruitfulness for Almighty God in your life.
Secondly, the Holy Spirit is also our Comforter ( from Greek word parakletos) which implies our Counselor, Intercessor, Helper and one who encourages and comforts, our legal counsel or advisor, called to be by our side as our aid, one who pleads the case for us, who stands by our side.
Thirdly the Holy Spirit gives us an experience of Jesus Christ and an experience of the Father. That is why Jesus Christ said in John 14:19-20
“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
Seeing Jesus Christ here is experiencning Him, His power and His working. He also said here in that day (the day of the Holy Spirit- you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me and I in you. The Holy Spirit gives us an experience of the Son and of the Father.
Finally the Holy Spirit enables a manifestation of Jesus and of the Father in the life of the believer. The word manifest means to make it obvious to the eye and to the mind, that Jesus Christ and the Father are at work in the life of a believer to you and to those looking from outside.
In John 14:21 Jesus said: He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
You need to earnestly desire the gifts of the Holy Spirit,
denounce, renounce and reject satan and demons and every demonic influence upon your life
and ask for God to fill you with His Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ by faith.
He says in Luke 11:13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much
more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him" NKJV.
You will never be the same again.
The Holy Spirit desires that you allow Him to pray through you in other tongues.
Tongues are a language of the Holy Spirit interceding for you pertaining to things not yet revealed to you.
As you speak in tongues you edify yourself (1 Corinthians 14:4).
When you speak in tongues, you are speaking mysteries (hidden things not yet revealed to your senses)
to God (1 Corinthians 14:2) Glory be to God.
When you speak in tongues you build yourself up in your most holy faith (Jude 1:20).
Why- because the Holy Spirit searches the word of God and draws it to your spirit.
That word will always be a word in target for your situation empowered to encourage you, edify you and exhort you.
The apostle Paul says "I thank God I speak in tongues more than you all."(1 Corinthians 14:18).
That means speaking in tongues must be really important.
You need to earnestly desire to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:1).
Remember also that receiving the Holy Spirit is key to blessing, positive outcomes (Galatians 3:14).
When you are ready-
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for my redemption.
Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today I denounce,
renounce and reject every working, every influence and every deception of the enemy satan
and his demons upon my life.
I ask for, plead and speak the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ upon my life today.
I ask you Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit
upon my life in the name of your Son Jesus Christ.
Thank you Father for hearing me.
In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus
2026 The Year of Almighty God's Special Treasure
2026 is the year of Almighty God’s special treasure.
In this year, Almighty God wants you to engage with Him as a person after His own heart who desires to accomplish His purpose, plan and will.
A person who seeks the burden of Almighty God as you pray and intercede, as you witness the love of Jesus Christ through your various platforms and as you exercise faithful stewardship of your time, of the mysteries of God entrusted to you and of substance.
His word tells us in Psalms 89:19-23:
'Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, and said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.
20 I have found My servant, David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,
21 With whom My hand shall be established; also, My arm shall strengthen him.
22The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him (NKJV).
23 I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him.'
What you need to know:
Our Almighty God is a faithful God, that means He is trustworthy, He is dependable and follows things through.
His word tells us:
'He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.' I Thessalonians 5:24.
'Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.' Genesis 28:15 (NKJV).
'Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. ' I Kings 8:56 (NKJV).
Remember:
'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.' Numbers 23:19-20 (NKJV).
(see also Isaiah 46:9-11, Isaiah 14:24-27)
What you need to understand and have a revelation of:
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
His word tells us:
'Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV).
Remember also:
'Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 'Exodus 12:40-41 (NKJV).
In fact, it was precise to the second- at midnight, at the stroke of midnight first-borns were struck and Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said -Go and serve your God.
We read in Galatians 4:4-5:
'But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.' (NKJV).
In your life and in the Ministry, you need to wait upon Him, but while you wait be busy doing what needs to be done today.
What you need to do-
a) Keep your eyes on the word of God.
His word tells us:
'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.' Colossians 3:16 (NKJV).
'Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' John 8:31-32 (NKJV).
b) Be conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.
We read in John 14:15-17 (AMPC):
' If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.'
c) Be in prayer.
His word teaches us:
'Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ' Ephesians 6:18-19 (NKJV).
d) Remember your personal prayer agenda with God.
His word teaches us:
'Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”' Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV).
Psalms 91:15 tells us:
'He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.' (NKJV).
Almighty God has promised to answer you as you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
Much grace and peace be multiplied to you.
In the service of Jesus Christ
