Ask what I shall give thee.
And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father,
and hast made me to reign in his stead.
Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established:
for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people:
for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” 2 Chronicles 1:7-10 KJV.
“And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha,
Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee.
And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.” 2 Kings 2:9 KJV.
Sometimes our God in Jesus Christ gives us a blank cheque and says ask what shall I give you.
This usually follows a test of commitment.
Solomon showed his commitment by the way he gave to God.
He had gone to the alter and offered one thousand burnt offerings.
God was so pleased with Solomon's commitment to Him
that God appeared to him in the night and gave him a blank cheque-
"Ask what shall I give you."
Solomon showed his unwavering commitment further by how he answered.
He asked for wisdom and knowledge so that he could do what God had called him to do the best he could.
See how God responded- because you have not asked for wealth, long life or the life of your enemies,
I will give you wisdom and all these as well.
Elisha also passed a test of commitment to Elijah at Gilgal, at Bethel, at Jericho and finally at Jordan.
At all these places he was given an opportunity to leave the man of God. He was told-
"Stay here please for the Lord has sent me onto Bethel"(2 Kings 2:2 NKJV).
"Stay here please the Lord has sent me to Jericho" (2 Kings 2:4 NKJV) and the same at Jericho.
At each occasion he answered "As the Lord lives and as your soul lives I will not leave you" (2 Kings 2:2-6).
Finally after passing his tests of commitment, he was asked:
"Ask! what may I do for you before I am taken away from you?" (2 Kings 2:9 NKJV).
Notice how he answered- by putting the mission first,
showing commitment to the cause he had been called for-
he asked for a double portion of the anointing that was on Elijah
so that He could best serve the people of God.
In our day, the greatest need and cause to which we are all being called
and to which we need to show total commitment is salvation of souls.
God in Jesus Christ is asking for your total commitment
to spreading His word to save the lost of our generation.
What can you do?
You can pray for salvation of souls across Planet Earth,
you can witness Jesus Christ to friends, family and others as opportunities arise,
you can forward messages to friends and family and also employ other ways of spreading the gospel.
You can also give of your substance to support the spreading of the gospel.
When you commit to this cause, God will give you, your own blank cheque.
That is why Jesus Christ said in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.” KJV.
As you meditate upon this word, commit yourself to Almighty God in Jesus Christ
to use you to bring salvation of souls.
Take some time to commit yourself to salvation of souls.
When you are ready-
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die that my sin may be forgiven.
Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.
I reject, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception
of the enemy satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.
I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
I commit my life to you and to the cause of salvation of souls across Planet Earth.
I ask you Lord Jesus Christ, move by your Spirit
and save souls across Planet Earth in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
I pray to you Lord of the harvest to send labourers into the Planet Earth harvest.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus:
With best wishes for the Year 2024, the year in which the Lord God is visiting His restless ones with an anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage of the enemy.
There is a big financial dimension to the victory for the restless ones in 2024. The yoke of poverty and financial struggles is being broken.
a) Things you need to know:
The year in which the restless ones rise up with the zeal of Almighty God to cause the spreading of the cities of Almighty God through prosperity.
Almighty God says: proclaim saying 'Thus saith the Lord of Hosts: "Iam zealous for Jerusalem with great zeal."' Zechariah 1:14
He also says: 'Thus says the Lord, "I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it," says the Lord of Hosts,
"And a surveyor's line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem."' Zechariah 1:16. See also Zechariah 8:1-5, 12-13, 15, 21 and 23.
He goes further to say: "Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity;
The Lord will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem."' Zechariah 1:17.
He says: "Take the silver and gold, make an elaborate crown, and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest." Zechariah 6:11.
Almighty God wants to put an elaborate crown of gold and silver upon your head.
b) What you need to do:
1. In 2023, take away your measuring line.
Do not limit what God can do for you and through you in the way you think, the way you speak and the way you act.
Do not limit the Holy One of Israel. ( Zechariah 1:1-5 )
In Psalms 78:41: His word says:Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
Remember also Ephesians 3:20 says: He is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all we think and ask, by the power at work within us.
2. Call with a strong conviction on the Almighty God for whom all things are possible, for whom nothing shall be impossible.
Remember His waord says in Genesis 18:10-14:
10 And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”
(Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)
11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.
12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
13 And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’
14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
See also Jeremiah 32:17-22, Jeremiah 32:26-27.
In Luke 1:34-38 we read:
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you;
therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
See also Mark 10;27 and Matthew 19:26.
Remember the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you- to make the will of Almighty God happen in your life and in the work of the Ministry.
In Jeremiah 32:19 -21 we read that our Almighty God is great in counsel and mighty in deeds and that He brought out His people Israel from the land of Egypt with signs and wonders,
with a strong hand, and an outstretched arm and with great terror and He gave them the land that flows with milk and honey- they came in and took possession of it.
Let Him give you His counsel, let Him show you His signs and wonders, go in and take possession.
c) What you need to understand (have a revelation of):
You need to understand the following things:
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
In Genesis 21:1-2 we read: 1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
2. Almighty God fulfils His promises.
In Numbers 23:19-20 we read:
19 God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
In Isaiah 46:9-11 we read:
9 Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.
3. It has been done before-
Remember in her restlessness Rachael cried: Give me children or else I die (Genesis 30:1). God answered her prayer and she bore Joseph, who subsequently received
the portion of the first born of Israel.
In her restlessness, Hannah prayed for a male child and pledged to give him to the Lord all the days of her life. God answered her prayer and she bore Samuel,
a mighty prophet of God who was also a judge of Israel. (1 Samuel 1:11).
In her restlessness Mary Magdalene sought to find where they had laid the body of the Lord Jesus Christ and she refused to be comforted.
The Lord Jesus had to make an unscheduled visit to the tomb while on His way to the Father. The Lord Jesus Christ had to appear to Mary. (John 20:11-18).
We love you and continue to pray for you as you set yourself apart and consecrate yourself for the purposes of Almighty God on the Earth in our day.
