that we should be called the sons of God:

 therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:

 but we know that, when he shall appear,

 we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬.


The word "behold" here could be interpreted as

 "wow come and see" or "this is unbelievable", 

"this is incredible" or "can you believe it!"

 God has loved us so much in Jesus Christ

 that He has made us sons/daughters in His own household.

 He has opened a door for us to go in and come out,

 He has given us the special son's/daughter's bedroom,

 he has given us the special son's/daughter's seat at His high dining room table. 

So great, so thorough, so effectual is the work Jesus Christ did for mankind

 on the cross that when one believes in Him and acknowledges Him as Lord of one's life,

you become adopted by God,

 you are given the right, the power and the privilege to be called a son/daughter of God. 

That is why His word says:

 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,

 even to them that believe on his name: 

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,

 nor of the will of man, but of God.”‭‭John‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Three critical things happened in your spirit when you believed in Jesus Christ:

1. Your dead spirit was regenerated, made alive and joined (intermarried) to the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

 Your spirit became brand new, old things have passed away, 

all things have become new (1 Corinthians 5: 21, John 3:3,5).

2. You were adopted by God in Jesus Christ to become a son/ daughter in His house.

 Therefore His word says:

 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;

 but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans‬ ‭8:15‬ KJV. 

His word also says: 

“To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Galatians‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬. 

That is why when the Lord Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:9, He said

 we should address God as "Our Father who is in heaven".

3. We received an inheritance, we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

 The biggest of this inheritance is eternal life.

 This inheritance includes everything that Jesus Christ atoned for,

 including peace, joy, health and wellbeing in spirit, mind and body; 

victory including emotional victory, His provision,

 guidance which gives us the  knowledge of the will of God for us.

 That is why His word says:

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;

 if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Romans‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

His word also says: 

“Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son,

 then an heir of God through Christ.” Galatians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Remember in your spirit, you have the mind of Christ  (1 Corinthians 2:16). 

In your spirit you know all things. (1 John 2:20).

 In you spirit dwells the fullness of Christ. (John 1:16).

Here is your challenge- to renew your mind with His word,

 so that you are transformed in the thinking of your mind by the word of God. (Romans 12:2).

 That will release the power of God from your spirit where Christ dwells into your body,

 into your circumstances and to the people around you. 

Remember your son-ship is in your spirit- this is also where the full word of Almighty God dwells.

Because in your spirit- the human spirit is conjoined to the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

As your mind is renewed with the word of Almighty God- the power of the word will flow into your body

and bring the reality of the word into flesh. Glory be to Almighty God!

Take some time to celebrate sonship.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for the love with which you have loved me in Jesus Christ.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

I reject, renounce and denounce every influence, every working and every deception

 of the enemy satan and his demons.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me with your Holy Spirit right now.

I receive the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Father for the incredible love by which you have loved me in Jesus Christ.

 Thank you that in Christ I am an adopted child of God an heir of you Father

 and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. 

Thank you for the power, the right and the privilege to be called a child of Almighty God.

Thank you for making me a member of your own household.

Thank you that I am no longer a stranger and a foreigner but a member of the household of 

Almighty God.

Thank you for making me a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation

 and Almighty God's own special person.

Thank you for eternal life.

 Thank you for the life of God in me. 

Thank you for total and complete salvation, 

total and complete soundness in spirit, soul and body.

 Thank you for health and well being, 

for your victory and your guidance.

 In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus:

2025 The Year of the Overcomer.

His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.

To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who

was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).

Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,

which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire  and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He says further: 

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).

He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.

As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time. 

That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.

a) What you need to know:

We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly

(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.

As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.

b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):

1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.

That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45;  His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);

His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11), 

He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;

1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).

c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:

Run with the vision.

Remember we are:

1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.

2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.

3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries

of God and substance.

4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).

5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).

6. We release the fragrance of  the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to

manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).

d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.

He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

He says in John 14:13-14: 

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the

Father in My name He may give you. 

Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).

In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.

Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.

We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one  in 2025  and beyond.

As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
