Title: Your  victory over death is in Jesus Christ.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:
 he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. 

Believest thou this?” ‭‭John‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭KJV.‬‬

Point of Reflection:

Hanging over each and every one of us is the reality that one day

 our body will fail and we will depart this body.

 After that comes judgement and either eternal life or eternal damnation. 

The word of God declares in Hebrews 9: 27:

 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

Acts 17:31 tells us the judge will be Jesus Christ

 and that He will overlook ignorance and judge in righteousness. 

 Justice, righteousness and holiness are the foundation of His throne 

and will be the hallmarks of His judgement decisions.

 He is qualified to judge by His suffering, death and resurrection.

Every authority, power and dominion has been put under His feet.

He has been exalted to the highest level in the universe.

He was given the Key of David, keys over life and death.

 He is qualified to give us eternal life because He is the resurrection and the life.

 He tasted death on behalf of every person, conquered death 

and is now qualified to impart eternal life to all who believe in Him.

That is why in Jesus Christ we can now declare that

 death is swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15: 54) and

 "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory

 through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ‭‭1 Corinthians 15:55, 57 KJV.


By the resurrection Jesus Christ is able to set you completely free from the fear of death.

 The enemy satan  has used the fear of death as a weapon to put many people in bondage all their lives.

 Many remain petrified and haunted by the prospect of dying. 

That is why His word says:

‭‭“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

 he also himself likewise took part of the same;

 that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬. 

When one believes in Jesus Christ as Lord, He deposits His Holy Spirit in us,

 who  will regenerate our old spirit and then merge  with our own spirit.

 We are then born again and have the capacity to see and taste eternal life,

 be given a foretaste of eternity. ( See John 3:3-6; Ephesians 1:13-14).

 The Holy Spirit is given to us as a deposit,

foretaste and down payment for eternity.

It bears witness within us that we are children of God.

Romans 8: 16 tells us: "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."

Glory to God!

In Jesus Christ you have victory over death because

 He is the resurrection and the life and 

death has no more power over Him and therefore over you. 

His Holy Spirit given to you as down payment gives you a foretaste of eternity.

 The Holy Spirit also vacuum packs your spirit,

 and seals it  and stamps it ready for eternity. Glory to God!

 You therefore need not have fear over death, because you have victory over it in Jesus Christ in you.

Take some time to thank Almighty God for victory over death in Jesus Christ and the gift of eternal life.

Prayer of thanksgiving:

Heavenly Father I thank you that Jesus Christ tasted and conquered death on behalf of every person.

Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.

I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you.

I declare that I was bought by the blood of Jesus Christ and satan and his demons

 have no power over me and no claim over my life.

I reject, denounce and renounce  every influence, every working and every deception of the enemy 

satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me by your Holy Spirit

right now.

I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

 Thank you that  Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. 

 Thank you that by your Holy Spirit I am sealed for eternal life.

Thank you that the Holy Spirit is the deposit and down payment for my redemption to eternal life.

Thank you that the Holy Spirit gives me a fore-taste of eternity.  

 Thank you that in Jesus Christ I have victory over death and assurance for eternal life.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray.  Amen.

Year in Focus:

2025 The Year of the Overcomer.

His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.

To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who

was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).

Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,

which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire  and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.

He says further: 

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).

He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.

As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time. 

That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.

a) What you need to know:

We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly

(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.

As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.

b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):

1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.

That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45;  His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);

His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11), 

He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;

1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).

c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:

Run with the vision.

Remember we are:

1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.

2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.

3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries

of God and substance.

4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).

5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).

6. We release the fragrance of  the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to

manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).

d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.

He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

He says in John 14:13-14: 

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the

Father in My name He may give you. 

Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).

In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.

Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.

We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one  in 2025  and beyond.

As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
