Title: Fear not, lift up your rod and see the salvation of Jesus Christ.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still,
and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day:
for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today,
ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it:
and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
Exodus 14:13-14, 16 KJV.
Point of Reflection:
The Lord Jesus Christ says "Fear not" to you every day of the year.
Bible scholars who counted in the King James Version found the following matches:
fear not" appears 169 times, "be not afraid" appears 79 times, "have no fear" appears 25 times,
"shall not fear" appears 55 times, "do not fear" appears 37 times and "do not worry" appears once and the total is 366 times.
This means there is a fear not for every day of the year and a spare one for every leap year.
I do not believe at all this is accidental. Almighty God's first statement to you every morning is "fear not".
When Almighty God appeared to Abraham His first statement was "fear not Abraham" (Genesis 15:1).
The reason is this: The enemy of God and mankind satan
uses fear as a weapon to bring bondage to the people of God.
His word also says “Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood
[in the physical nature of human beings],
He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature],
that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and
make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil–
And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who
through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.”
Hebrews 2:14-15 (AMPC).
Refuse fear and lift up thy rod and stretch forth your hand.
What is lifting up thy rod and stretching your hand?
Make a declaration of faith- and then
do what you can do, what wisdom says is humanly possible,
talk to God about the situation in prayer,
seek His wisdom and do what wisdom of God says you can do-
then stand still and commit, cast your burden to Him and allow Him to do the rest.
Remember to refuse fear and experience the salvation of God.
The "Egyptians" you see today, you will never see again.
It is the will of God that you overcome forever the situation satan has put before you.
When you are ready-
Prayer of declaration:
Father in heaven I thank you that the Lord Jesus Christ died
and through His death he brought satan to nought and
made his power of no effect upon my life so that I am completely set free
from the haunting fear of every negative situation that might lead to death.
Today I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself for you, to serve you and live for you alone.
I reject, refuse, denounce and renounce every working, every influence and every deception
of the enemy satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.
I lift the rod of God and stretch out my hand on every situation I face in the name of Jesus Christ.
I decree the victory of El-Giboh, the Mighty Warrior as I accomplish the will of Almighty God in my life.
I receive the salvation of God in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Confession:
I am a child of God and Jesus Christ in me is greater than the devil in the world.
I refuse fear upon my life knowing that Jesus Christ died to bring to nought
and make of no effect and to break every form of bondage from satan upon my life.
I apply the wisdom of God upon every situation I face,
I lift up my rod and stretch out my hand over every situation I face,
I command every "Red Sea" to part and in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
I declare a way for me, my family and ministry.
I receive the salvation of God in Jesus Christ.
To you Father I give all the glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus:
2025 The Year of the Overcomer.
His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who
was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).
Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,
which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He says further:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.
As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time.
That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.
a) What you need to know:
We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly
(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.
As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.
b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.
That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);
His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11),
He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;
1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).
c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:
Run with the vision.
Remember we are:
1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.
2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.
3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries
of God and substance.
4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).
5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).
6. We release the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to
manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).
d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.
He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
He says in John 14:13-14:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you.
Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).
In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.
Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.
We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one in 2025 and beyond.
As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
