Title: You have been given by God the measure of the faith of Christ.
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think;
but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 KJV.
When you heard and accepted the message of Jesus Christ, received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour,
you were given the measure of the faith of Jesus Christ.
We were each given the same measure of the precious faith of Christ.
In 2 Peter 1:1 the apostle writes "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ,
to them that have obtained like precious faith with us
through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."
Here the apostle is addressing believers as "them that have obtained like precious faith". Glory to God!
In Galatians 2:16 the apostle Paul wrote:
“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,
but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,
that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,
and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
The faith you received, the faith you have, the faith by which you were justified and made righteous,
the faith by which you were born again
and by which you were saved and by which you received eternal life,
is the faith of Christ, exactly the same faith which the Lord Jesus released to feed five thousand,
to heal the sick, to deliver demoniacs and to raise the dead.
The apostle Paul goes further to write in Galatians 2:20:
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Here again he goes - I died with Christ on the cross,
nevertheless I live but not I but Christ lives in me
and His faith now operates within me.
He says he now lives by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Jesus Christ lives in us with His faith.
That is why in John 14:12 He said
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
Notice He says he that believes in me the works I do,
exactly shall he do and greater because the person who believes in Jesus
utilises the same faith of Christ and operates in exactly the same way.
Knowing this transforms you. So do not be afraid of praying for the sick,
for people tormented by evil spirits
and for praying for the dead in the name of Jesus Christ -
His power, His faith in you will be released to accomplish the miracle! Glory to God!
In John 14:13 He goes further “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
Anything we ask in His name is also accomplished with His faith,
the faith of Jesus Christ of which we have all received the same measure, called the faith of Christ.
1 John 4:17 goes on to say “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world.”
So as Christ is right now in heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father,
so are we in this world.
We have in us the same precious faith, given the measure of faith,
the faith of Christ, representing Jesus Christ in all domains of life.
Jesus is in us with His full stature, His authority and His faith.
Realising this truth should give the child of God assurance of the capabilities of the Christ within us.
We need the knowledge so that we can learn to release this faith, the faith of Christ.
We do not have a faith problem rather it is a knowledge problem.
The challenge is renewal of the mind, allowing the word of God to transform you. (Romans 12:2).
Thank you Lord Jesus.
Point of reflection:
Thank God in Jesus Christ for the grace by which you have received the same precious faith.
Thank the Lord for giving you the same measure of faith in quality
and quantity as given to anybody else.
This measure is called "the faith of Christ".
Commit yourself to transformation through the renewal of your mind by the word of God.
When you are ready-
Prayer of thanksgiving and declaration:
Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ on this day I thank you for the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross,
through which I have access to the measure of the faith of Christ.
I acknowledge the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.
I reject, renounce and denounce every working and influence of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life.
I set myself apart and consecrate myself to you.
I ask you Father in the name of Jesus Christ to fill and empower me
with your Holy Spirit right now in the name of Jesus Christ.
I receive, accept and embrace the abundant outpouring of your Spirit upon my life in Jesus's name.
Thank you Father that to me is given the measure of the faith of Christ.
Thank you that through the faith of Christ, I can do the same works that Jesus Christ did on the earth and greater works
through the faith of the Christ in me.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Year in Focus:
2025 The Year of the Overcomer.
His word says in 1 John 2:12-14:I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
To overcome the wicked one you need the word of God to dwell in you richly, you need to know Him who
was from the beginning (to know God) and you need strong conviction regarding His promises to you. These are the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He also says: Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days, which you would not believe, though it were told you (Habakkuk 1:5).
Almighty God wants to work a work in our day, in your day, in the work of the Ministry and in your own life,
which you will not believe even if it is told you. For you to be a part of what He is doing, you need to acquire and grow in the three critical attributes of an overcomer.
He says further:
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
He says write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run who reads it.
As you enter another phase in your walk with God and as we enter a new phase in our calling as Planet Ministries, remember the vision is for an appointed time.
That time is nigh. Wait for it, it will not be late by one second. Remember Genesis 18:10-14; Genesis 21: 1-2 and Exodus 12:40-41.
a) What you need to know:
We are moving into a period of accomplishing the vision which Almighty God has set before us.
There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
The vision is for an appointed time and that time is nigh.
You need the knowledge of the Father and His essential attributes, a knowledge of the word of God- you need the word of God to dwell in you richly
(see also Colossians 3:16) and you also need strength of conviction.
As these three attributes increase in you, they will make you to become an overcomer of the wicked one.
b) What you need to understand (or have a revelation of):
1. There is in the calendar of God something called the fullness of time.
2. As we enter the fullness of time you need to continue waiting upon God.
3. You need a revelation of the essential attributes of God.
That He is good to you all the time. He is holy, that means He gets it right all the time ( Leviticus 11:44-45; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23);
His loving kindness is better than life (Psalms 63:3), He is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24; Genesis 28:15; 1 Kings 8:56; Numbers 23:19-20; Isaiah 46:9-11),
He is righteous and He is just (Psalms 89:14). He promises to go before you. He says He will not fail you. (Joshua 1:5; Deuteronomy 31:6, 8;
1 Chronicles 28:20; Psalms 89:33-35).
c) What you need to do: Activities of 2025:
Run with the vision.
Remember we are:
1. Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples across the nations. (Matthew 28:18-20). Use every avenue available to you to send the message of the gospel.
2.We are praying and interceding to the God of the harvest to send labourers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38; 1Timothy 2:1-5). Take time to pray.
3. We are faithful stewards of time, the mysteries of God and of substance. (Luke 12:42-44; Luke 16:10-12; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Peter 4:10). Prayerfully examine your stewardship of time, mysteries
of God and substance.
4. We are light to the world- dispensing darkness- let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16).
5. We are salt, condiment to the earth to give flavour and fight the unsavoury works of the enemy satan ( Matthew 5:13).
6. We release the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ - God wants to diffuse through you the fragrance, perfume of the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow the fruit of the Holy Spirit to
manifest in your life. ( 2 Corinthians 14-15).
d) In all this remember to have your own personal agenda with God as you stand on His promises.
He says in John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
He says in John 15:7: If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
He says in John 14:13-14:
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He also says in John 15:16: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the
Father in My name He may give you.
Remember, we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that by these we may be partakers of divine nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4, John 16:24).
In this year of the overcomer, as you run with the vision, remember to have a personal prayer agenda with God.
Keep a prayer diary and tick things off, as He answers your prayers.
We love you as we invite you to be counted among the overcomers of the wicked one in 2025 and beyond.
As you run with the vision, we are praying for you and wish you a 2025 filled with the victory that comes from God.
In the service of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Dr Max and Joyce Matonhodze.
